In deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het preventief onderhouden en controleren van gebouwgebonden werktuigbouwkundige installaties. Je gaat zelfstandig op pad en zorgt ervoor dat installaties betrouwbaar, veilig en technisch in goede staat blijven. Daarnaast ben je degene die technische problemen als eerste signaleert. Ontstaat er tijdens werktijd een storing, dan ga jij op onderzoek uit. Je analyseert het probleem, bepaalt de oorzaak en zorgt voor een passende oplossing. Daarbij kijk je verder dan alleen het oplossen van de storing: je signaleert ook mogelijke verbeteringen of onderhoudspunten. Een groot voordeel van deze functie: je draait geen storingsdiensten. Storingen buiten werktijd worden uitbesteed. Jij kunt je daardoor volledig richten op je werkzaamheden overdag en op het leveren van kwalitatief technisch werk.
