Als shift leader sta je samen met jouw team garant voor een perfecte operationele uitvoering. Hiervoor geef je duidelijke operationele instructies aan de medewerkers. Je ressorteert onder

de zaakvoerders en streeft samen met het team naar de vooropgestelde targets.

DOEL

Praktische coördinatie, taakverdeling en supervisie van de werkzaamheden van een team medewerkers in zaal en keuken. Opleiding en begeleiding van de medewerkers. Toezicht op de naleving van interne normen (baktijden, portionering, compositie). Voldoen aan kwaliteit, service en hygiëne normen. Volledige verantwoordelijkheid i.v.m. openings- en sluitingsprocedures van het restaurant.

HOOFDTAKEN

  • Je takenpakket is operationeel en brengt volgende verantwoordelijkheden met zich mee: je bent verantwoordelijk voor het vlotte verloop van de service en de delivery & take- out bestellingen.
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat elke klant een onvergetelijke experience krijgt en begeleidt het team door hen te leren wat hospitality voor ons inhoud en waarom dit belangrijk is.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de correcte opening en afsluit van het restaurant. Je coördineert en superviseert de werkzaamheden van de medewerkers in keuken en zaal; je geeft hen duidelijke werkinstructies zodat iedereen exact weet wat er van hem/haar verwacht wordt voor, tijdens en na de service.
  • Je werkt tijdens de service mee aan verschillende werkposten; je kent alle werkposten in de keuken en in de zaal.
  • Je bereidt MEP voor naargelang de verwachte drukte.
  • Je controleert werkposten en werkzaamheden conform procedures en werkmethoden; je signaleert afwijkingen.
  • Je controleert de bewaring en opslag van voedingswaren; bewaakt kwaliteit, dienstverlening en hygiëne.
  • Je zorgt er voor dat het team de HACCP regels strikt naleven.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de properheid van het restaurant en zorgt ervoor dat zaal, bar en keuken ten alle tijde georganiseerd blijft. Propere tafels, vloer, toiletten en afwas horen hier ook bij.
  • Je leidt nieuwe medewerkers op: je geeft uitleg over de verschillende werkposten, de technologie en de werkmethoden; je staat in voor de opleiding (on-the job training).
  • Je doet day-to-day bestellingen en zorgt hierbij dat de foodcost en waste onder controle blijven.
  • Je controleert de levering met de leverbon en zorgt voor correcte opslag volgens het FIFO principe.
  • Sommige collega's spreken enkel Engels. Daardoor verwachten we dat je je goed kan uitdrukken in deze taal.
  • Je hebt geen problemen met weekendwerk.
