Ben jij een technisch sterke leider die graag dicht bij het productieproces staat? Wil je mee bouwen aan een ultramoderne glasfabriek in Lommel waar innovatie, duurzaamheid en vakmanschap centraal staan? Dan is deze functie als Shiftleader Batch & Furnace iets voor jou. Je zorgt ervoor dat de meng- en smeltprocessen optimaal draaien, stuurt een team operatoren aan en draagt actief bij aan veiligheid, kwaliteit en continue verbetering.

Wat ga je doen?

Als Shiftleader Batch & Furnace ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het vlot en veilig verloop van de batch- en smeltprocessen binnen de productie.

Je takenpakket bestaat onder andere uit:

  • Coachen, motiveren en aansturen van Batch & Furnace Operatoren tijdens jouw shift.
  • Bewaken en bijsturen van ovenparameters zoals temperatuur, druk, glasniveau en lucht-brandstofverhoudingen.
  • Actief bijdragen aan de dagelijkse werking van het productieproces.
  • Detecteren en oplossen van technische storingen en procesafwijkingen.
  • Uitvoeren en opvolgen van procescontroles, analyses en metingen.
  • Bewaken van de kwaliteit van grondstoffen en het geproduceerde glas.
  • Registreren en analyseren van productiegegevens om verbeterkansen te identificeren.
  • Stimuleren van een cultuur rond veiligheid, kwaliteit en continue verbetering.
  • Opleiden, begeleiden en ondersteunen van operatoren.
  • Samenwerken met collega's van productie, onderhoud, kwaliteit, planning en engineering.

Voor deze functie als Shiftleader Batch & Furnace zoeken we een technisch onderlegde professional met leiderschapspotentieel:

  • Je behaalde een technisch diploma secundair onderwijs of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Je hebt minstens 3 tot 5 jaar ervaring binnen een procesgestuurde productieomgeving zoals glas, chemie, staal of energie.
  • Je hebt leidinggevende ervaring of bent klaar om de stap naar een leidinggevende rol te zetten.
  • Je hebt interesse in industriële processen, ovensystemen en procesoptimalisatie.
  • Je werkt analytisch, gestructureerd en oplossingsgericht.
  • Veiligheid en kwaliteit zijn voor jou vanzelfsprekend.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met Excel en digitale procesbesturingssystemen.
  • Je kiest bewust voor een functie binnen een 6-ploegensysteem.
  • Je haalt energie uit teamwork, coaching en verbetering.
