Jobomschrijving

Ben jij een technisch sterk persoon met ervaring in een productieomgeving en heb je interesse in een leidinggevende functie? Voor een moderne productiesite zijn we op zoek naar een Shiftleader Batch & Furnace die een team van operatoren aanstuurt en instaat voor een veilige, efficiënte en kwalitatieve productie.

Je werkt in een 6-ploegensysteem en combineert technisch inzicht met coaching, procesopvolging en continue verbetering.

Jouw taken als Shiftleader

  • Als Shiftleader ben je het aanspreekpunt op de werkvloer en zorg je ervoor dat de productieprocessen tijdens jouw shift vlot verlopen.
  • Aansturen, coachen en motiveren van een team Batch & Furnace Operators
  • Opvolgen en bijsturen van meng- en smeltprocessen
  • Bewaken van ovencondities, temperaturen, glasniveaus, druk en lucht/brandstofverhoudingen
  • Opsporen en oplossen van technische en procesmatige storingen
  • Uitvoeren van procescontroles, meteropnames en glasanalyses
  • Opvolgen van productiegegevens, kwaliteitsafwijkingen en storingen
  • Bewaken van kwaliteit, veiligheid en efficiëntie
  • Meewerken aan verbeteringen rond procesoptimalisatie, energie-efficiëntie en duurzaamheid
  • Toezien op het naleven van veiligheids-, kwaliteits- en hygiënenormen
  • Nieuwe operatoren begeleiden, opleiden en dagelijks coachen
  • Samenwerken met Productie, Maintenance, Planning, Kwaliteit en Engineering
  • Voeren van feedback- en evaluatiegesprekken en opvolgen van opleidingsnoden
  • Meewerken aan personeelsbezetting, verlofplanning en ploegenschema's

Voor deze functie zoeken we een technisch en communicatief sterke kandidaat die graag verantwoordelijkheid opneemt.

  • Technisch diploma secundair onderwijs
  • 3 tot 5 jaar ervaring in een procesgestuurde productieomgeving, bijvoorbeeld glas, staal, chemie of energie
  • Ervaring als leidinggevende is een plus, maar ook kandidaten die klaar zijn voor een eerste leidinggevende stap komen in aanmerking
  • Technisch inzicht in productieprocessen, ovens of batchmengprocessen is een sterke troef
  • Analytisch, besluitvaardig en kwaliteitsgericht
  • Sterke aandacht voor veiligheid en efficiëntie
  • Natuurlijke leider met goede communicatieve vaardigheden
  • Goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels
  • Vlot met Excel en bereid om met moderne proces- en besturingssystemen te werken
  • Bereid om te werken in een 6-ploegensysteem
  • Interesse in duurzaamheid, innovatie en continue verbetering
