Onze klant is een logistiek bedrijf met jarenlange ervaring, vooral in opslag en behandeling van tabak, voeding en andere goederen. Jobomschrijving

Ben jij een gedreven Shipping Specialist die de koest bepaald van de shipping-activiteiten. Vanuit het hoofdkantoor in het hartje van Antwerpen ben jij het aanspreekpunt voor de Customer Service afdeling voor alles wat met shipping en forwarding te maken heeft. Samen met jouw team streef je elke dag naar de beste resultaten. Jouw dagelijkse taken zijn:

  • Behandelen van tenderprocessen en het analyseren van (zee)vrachttarieven.
  • Fungeren als het aanspreekpunt omtrent shipping voor zowel interne collega's als klanten.
  • Vertalen van klantenbehoeften naar concrete projecten, procedures en workflows.
  • Uittekenen van scenario's om in te spelen op de wensen van de klanten.
  • Implementeren van commerciële afspraken binnen de dagelijkse werking.
  • Behouden van het overzicht over alle lopende dossiers.
  • Proactief meedenken aan de procesoptimalisatie van de dienstverlening.
  • Grondig voorbereiden van bezoeken aan rederijen en klanten en deze helder rapporteren aan de teamleader.

Jij bent communicatief, assertief en zelfzeker. Met jouw klantgerichte instelling en probleemoplossend vermogen weet jij elke situatie snel naar jouw hand te zetten. Verder neem je mee:

  • Een eerste succesvolle ervaring binnen de wereld van Forwarding en Shipping.
  • Zeer goede kennis van het Nederlands en goede beheersing van Engels.
  • Goede kennis van MS Office, met focus op Excel.
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en commerciële ingesteldheid.
