KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: BOARDING AND UNLOADING ASSISTANCE: HELP SKIERS AND SNOWBOARDERS SAFELY BOARD AND UNLOAD FROM CHAIRLIFTS, GONDOLAS, OR SURFACE LIFTS, PAYING SPECIAL ATTENTION TO CHILDREN, BEGINNERS, AND INDIVIDUALS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY. ACCESS AND QUEUE CONTROL: VERIFY THAT GUESTS ACCESS LIFTS WITH A VALID SKI PASS AND MANAGE WAITING AREAS IN AN ORDERLY, SMOOTH, AND FRIENDLY MANNER. BASIC OPERATIONAL SAFETY: MONITOR THE OPERATION OF THE ASSIGNED LIFT FROM THE CONTROL BOOTH OR PLATFORM, EXECUTING EMERGENCY STOPS OR SPEED ADJUSTMENTS WHENEVER NECESSARY. SITE MAINTENANCE: CLEAR SNOW AND ICE FROM LOADING AND UNLOADING RAMPS, ENSURING THAT PLATFORMS REMAIN LEVEL, SAFE, AND OBSTACLE-FREE THROUGHOUT THE OPERATING DAY. INTERNAL COORDINATION: PROMPTLY REPORT ANY DETECTED MECHANICAL ANOMALIES TO THE TECHNICAL TEAM OR CENTRAL DISPATCH, AND COLLABORATE WITH THE SKI PATROL TEAM DURING WEATHER OR SAFETY INCIDENTS. CANDIDATE PROFILE: EDUCATION: HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT QUALIFICATION, BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY IS A PLUS. EXPERIENCE: PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE, TOURISM, OR OUTDOOR PHYSICAL WORK IS APPRECIATED (PRIOR SKI LIFT EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED, AS ROLE-SPECIFIC TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED). LANGUAGES: FLUENT SPANISH, KNOWLEDGE OF CATALAN, FRENCH, OR ENGLISH IS A PLUS FOR INTERACTING WITH LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL GUESTS.
