Als Polyvalente Slachter werk je in onze hypermoderne slachthal, waar met veel aandacht voor veiligheid en welzijn van de dieren wordt gewerkt. Samen met een hecht team van collega’s voer je uiteenlopende taken uit aan de slachtlijn, ieder met zijn specialisatie.

Je wordt ingezet op één van de verschillende werkposten, afhankelijk van jouw vaardigheden en ervaring. Dit kan bijvoorbeeld zijn:

  • Uithalen van de ingewanden (rode/witte organen)
  • Verwerken van darmpakketten
  • Opkuisen van filet pure
  • Verwijderen van vetresten
  • ... en andere slachttaken volgens de wettelijke richtlijnen

Je werkt met professioneel gereedschap en past altijd de strengste voedselveiligheids- en welzijnsvoorschriften toe. Om de integriteit van het hele proces te waarborgen, staan er dagelijks dierenartsen van het FAVV in voor toezicht en controle. De slachtlijn verwerkt ongeveer 700 varkens per uur, wat betekent dat teamwork, tempo en precisie essentieel zijn.

Wie zoeken we?

Wij zoeken een vakman of vakvrouw die ervaring heeft met werkzaamheden in het slachthuis, waarbij mesvaardigheid centraal staat. Je hebt oog voor kwaliteit en detail en werkt volgens de veiligheids- en hygiënevoorschriften van de voedingsindustrie.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

  1. Je bent handig met het mes, bij voorkeur heb je ervaring in de vleessector.
  2. Je kan zelfstandig aan de slag en draagt zorg voor kwaliteit én veiligheid in je werk.
  3. Je spreekt vlot Nederlands, of je bent technisch voldoende sterk om de instructies te begrijpen.
  4. Je werkdag start rond 5u30 (afhankelijk van het werkstation).
  5. Je hebt eigen vervoer om zelfstandig naar onze locatie in Westrozebeke te komen (openbaar vervoer is geen optie).
