Wil jij als smeltovenoperator bijdragen aan de recyclage van waardevolle metalen binnen een moderne productieomgeving?

Deze internationale speler is gespecialiseerd in het recycleren en verwerken van metalen tot hoogwaardige legeringen op maat. De organisatie telt verschillende vestigingen in Europa en levert haar producten aan klanten over de hele wereld. Op de Belgische productiesite staan veiligheid, kwaliteit en het hergebruik van waardevolle grondstoffen centraal.

Als smeltovenoperator kom je terecht in een technische werkomgeving waar duidelijke procedures, nauwkeurigheid en een vlot productieproces belangrijk zijn.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als smeltovenoperator weeg je de juiste hoeveelheden grondstoffen af en laad je deze zorgvuldig in de smeltoven
  • Daarnaast volg je de productieplanning en stem je de productievolgorde af op een efficiënt proces
  • Volgens de instructies van de ploegverantwoordelijke werk je conform de vastgelegde productie- en veiligheidsprocedures
  • Verder neem je deel aan 5S-initiatieven en denk je mee over oplossingen voor problemen op de werkvloer
  • Tot slot bedien je waar nodig een heftruck, bulldozer en verschillende hand- en elektrische gereedschappen en houd je jouw werkzone netjes
  • Als opleiding beschik je over een technische achtergrond of kan je terugkijken op gelijkwaardige praktijkervaring binnen een industriële omgeving
  • Bij voorkeur heb je al ervaring in productie, metaalverwerking, recyclage of een andere technisch-industriële werkomgeving
  • Daarnaast beschik je over een goede mechanische basiskennis en werk je vlot met handgereedschap, elektrisch gereedschap, heftrucks en bulldozers of ben je bereid dit aan te leren
  • Tot slot beheers je het Engels voldoende om werkinstructies en veiligheidsvoorschriften correct te begrijpen en toe te passen
