What are you going to do? As a cutting machine operator, you are responsible for operating and maintaining machines used to cut or process . These machines can take various forms, depending on the type of material and the desired cutting or processing method. In addition, you'll ensure that all pallet jacks, tools, and consumables are stored in their designated places and that the warehouse remains tidy. When you start, you'll be paired with an experienced colleague who will mentor you and explain all the processes. Together, you'll ensure that you become familiar with how the machines operate and the procedures necessary for an efficient and safe work environment.
