Ben je een ervaren .NET developer met ervaring in een leidinggevende rol of architect die klaar is om meer richting te geven aan een team en applicatielandschap? Voor een organisatie in de regio Roeselare zoeken we een Software Architect die zowel technische keuzes maakt als developers coacht. Je werkt in een omgeving waar bestaande systemen verder worden uitgebouwd en geoptimaliseerd, met ruimte om structuur, kwaliteit en samenhang te versterken.

Wat ga je doen? In deze functie combineer je architectuur, coaching en hands-on development:

  • Je bepaalt en bewaakt de technische richting van het applicatielandschap
  • Je ondersteunt en coacht developers in hun technische groei
  • Je maakt keuzes rond architectuur, frameworks en best practices
  • Je werkt zelf mee aan complexe technische vraagstukken
  • Je zorgt voor consistentie tussen verschillende applicaties en systemen
  • Je bewaakt codekwaliteit, onderhoudbaarheid en performantie
  • Je denkt mee na over hoe systemen toekomstgericht kunnen evolueren
  • Je fungeert als brug tussen development en business

Waar ga je werken? Je komt terecht bij een stabiele Belgische onderneming in West-Vlaanderen (regio Roeselare) met een sterke focus op operationele efficiëntie en interne procesondersteuning.Binnen de organisatie speelt IT een sleutelrol in het ondersteunen van verschillende bedrijfsactiviteiten. Er wordt continu gewerkt aan het verder uitbouwen en verbeteren van een intern applicatielandschap, met een centraal ERP-platform. We zoeken een ervaren profiel met zowel technische diepgang als leiderschapsvaardigheden:

  • Bachelor of Master in IT of gelijkaardig
  • Minstens 8 jaar ervaring in software development
  • Minstens 3 jaar ervaring als Tech Lead, Architect of senior developer met coachingrol
  • Sterke kennis van .NET (Core) en C#
  • Ervaring met moderne architectuurprincipes (bv. layered architecture, API-driven, …)
  • Goede kennis van databases (SQL Server) en datamodellering
  • Ervaring met CI/CD en versiebeheer (Azure DevOps, Git)
  • Je kan technische keuzes onderbouwen en helder communiceren
  • Je combineert hands-on werken met strategisch inzicht
  • Pluspunten: Ervaring met containerisatie (Docker, Kubernetes) Kennis van frontend frameworks (Angular of gelijkaardig) Ervaring met complexe of historisch gegroeide applicatielandschappen
