Over de organisatie

Voor een klant van Hays zijn we op zoek naar een Software Developer Java om het softwareteam verder uit te bouwen. Onze klant is een internationale speler binnen de machinebouw.

Je komt terecht in een innovatieve omgeving waar software en techniek nauw met elkaar verbonden zijn. Het bedrijf combineert een lokale verankering met een internationale samenwerking. Het softwareteam bestaat uit een achttal collega's, waaronder zowel ervaren developers als jonge talenten.

Jouw nieuwe functie

Als Software Developer werk je mee aan het ontwerpen, ontwikkelen en optimaliseren van software voor geavanceerde machines. Je draagt bij aan de verdere uitbouw van een toekomstgerichte softwarearchitectuur en ontwikkelt betrouwbare toepassingen binnen het softwareplatform.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Ontwerpen, ontwikkelen, testen en onderhouden van softwareproducten in Java
  • Functionele vereisten vertalen naar kwalitatieve en schaalbare softwareoplossingen
  • Meewerken aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de softwarearchitectuur en softwarestandaarden
  • Samenwerken met productmanagement en andere stakeholders om nieuwe functionaliteiten te realiseren
  • Inzetten op herbruikbaarheid en standaardisatie van softwarecomponenten
  • Ondersteunen van softwarevalidaties, simulaties en testfases
  • Technische ondersteuning bieden bij complexe vraagstukken
  • Technologische ontwikkelingen opvolgen en evalueren voor toekomstige toepassingen
  • Actief bijdragen aan continue verbetering van softwarekwaliteit en ontwikkelprocessen

Wat deze functie extra boeiend maakt, is de combinatie van software en techniek. Je ontwikkelt niet alleen software, maar volgt ook mee hoe deze wordt getest en toegepast op de machines. Afhankelijk van het project bezoek je hiervoor occasioneel klanten of andere vestigingen, voornamelijk binnen Europa.

Jouw profiel

Voor deze vacature van Java Developer zoeken we een kandidaat met een sterke interesse in softwareontwikkeling binnen een technische omgeving.

Je beschikt over:

  • Een masterdiploma in Informatica, Industrieel Ingenieur, Burgerlijk Ingenieur of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Een goede kennis van Java
  • Interesse in softwarearchitectuur en productontwikkeling
  • Sterke analytische vaardigheden en een gestructureerde aanpak
  • Een interesse in techniek en machinebouw
  • Een teamgerichte instelling en vlotte communicatieve vaardigheden
  • Een goede kennis van Engels

Extra troeven zijn:

  • Ervaring met Spring Boot
  • Kennis van LabVIEW
  • Eerste professionele ervaring als softwareontwikkelaar

Zowel schoolverlaters als kandidaten met enkele jaren ervaring komen in aanmerking.
