Om ons team verder te versterken zijn we momenteel op zoek naar een Software Engineer Cobol (m/v/x) om aan de slag te gaan bij onze klant in Mechelen.

  • Deze positie kan worden ingevuld met zowel vast contract (bediendestatuut) als freelance contract
  • Duurtijd: Lange termijn
  • Regio: Mechelen
  • Fulltime

Verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Ontwikkelen van Cobol-programma’s binnen een intern B2B-softwarepakket
  • Werken aan projecten rond o.a. facturatie, artikelgegevens, artikelprijzen en klantenbeheer
  • Ontwikkelen, testen en implementeren van oplossingen
  • Integreren van applicaties met andere systemen en platformen
  • Analyseren en oplossen van incidenten en technische problemen en opvolgen van processen in samenwerking met de helpdesk
  • Meewerken aan integraties tussen een COBOL-gebaseerd systeem en supply chain applicaties (PL1 en Java)
  • Werken in een omgeving met Red Hat Linux (VMware), Oracle 11 database, ACUCOBOL 85, EasyMap, Java SDK, Apache Ant (HTTP/SOAP XML) en IBM WebSphere Application Server

Profiel

  • Minstens 5 jaar ervaring als Cobol Software Engineer
  • Ervaring met Oracle databases is een pluspunt
  • Analytisch, oplossingsgericht en leergierig
  • Communicatief en teamgericht
  • Goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels, Frans is een plus
