Als Software Engineer Machinebouw programmeer je besturingen voor intern transport en geautomatiseerde systemen. Je bent betrokken van functioneel ontwerp en testen tot inbedrijfstelling en optimalisatie. Wat ga je doen? Als Software Engineer Machinebouw werk je voor onze opdrachtgever aan de besturing van intern transport- en handling systemen. Je ontwerpt en programmeert PLC-software en vertaalt functionele ontwerpen en machinespecificaties naar betrouwbare software. Daarbij ben je vanaf de voorbereiding van een project betrokken en stem je regelmatig af met projectleiders en andere technische collega's. Zodra een machine is opgebouwd, test je jouw software in de werkplaats en controleer je of de volledige installatie correct werkt. Zo zie je direct wat jouw code in de praktijk doet. Ook ondersteun je bij het inbedrijfstellen en finetunen van installaties bij klanten in Nederland en het buitenland. Ongeveer 15% van je tijd werk je op locatie, meestal kortdurend en gericht op testen, opstarten en optimaliseren. Daarnaast denk je mee over standaardisatie en verdere ontwikkeling van de software en help je klanten bij remote storingen en technische vraagstukken. Inzet op locatie gaat altijd in overleg en wanneer je vaker internationaal wilt werken, zijn daar mogelijkheden voor.
