Je gaat aan de slag bij een technisch familiebedrijf dat al tientallen jaren machines ontwerpt en bouwt voor de voedingsmiddelenindustrie. Van transportsystemen tot complete logistieke installaties: alles wordt op maat gemaakt, in eigen huis ontwikkeld en bij de klant in bedrijf gesteld.

Je werkt in een compacte organisatie met korte lijnen en een betrokken team. De sfeer is nuchter, open en professioneel. Omdat engineering, software, testen en inbedrijfstelling dicht bij elkaar zitten, zie je snel wat jouw werk oplevert in de praktijk.

De functie

Dit ga je doen

Als Software Engineer ontwikkel je de besturingssoftware voor geautomatiseerde machines en installaties. Je denkt vanaf het begin mee over de werking van de machine en zorgt ervoor dat de software betrouwbaar, logisch en gebruiksvriendelijk werkt.

Wat je concreet gaat doen:

- Je schrijft en documenteert PLC- en servosoftware, vooral met Siemens S7 TIA Portal

- Je stemt af met collega’s van mechanische en elektrische engineering

- Je test software en optimaliseert de werking van machines

- Je stelt besturingen in bedrijf bij klanten op locatie

- Je ondersteunt de buitendienst en service-afdeling bij technische vragen

Kortom: een afwisselende functie waarin je programmeert, test, samenwerkt en jouw software ook echt in bedrijf ziet gaan.
