The posting

Wij zijn op zoek naar een QA Architect die mee wil bouwen aan de voortdurende verbetering van de kwaliteit, betrouwbaarheid en schaalbaarheid van het Synaps-platform. Je definieert teststrategieën, verbetert testautomatisering en valideert releases samen met softwareontwikkelaars, DevOps-engineers, product owners en support engineers. De functie bestrijkt frontend, backend, infrastructuur, CI/CD en integraties met industriële systemen.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Kwaliteitsarchitectuur & teststrategie Je vertaalt klantenfeedback, inzichten van support, observaties in het veld en lessen uit productieomgevingen naar testscenario's voor unit-, integratie-, systeem- en end-to-endtesten. Je introduceert risico-gebaseerde testmethodieken zodat de testinspanning gericht wordt ingezet waar die de meeste waarde oplevert. Je baseert testscenario's op terugkerende klantenfeedback, supportinzichten en ervaringen uit reële installaties. Je helpt bij het definiëren van praktische kwaliteitscontroles (quality gates) voor releases zonder de oplevering onnodig te vertragen.
  • Testautomatisering Je ontwerpt en onderhoudt geautomatiseerde testen voor C#/.NET-services, Angular-applicaties, REST API's, microservices en database-integraties. Je integreert geautomatiseerde testen in CI/CD-pijplijnen zodat regressies vroegtijdig worden gedetecteerd. Je stimuleert onderhoudbare testautomatisering die ontwikkelaars begrijpen, vertrouwen en eenvoudig kunnen uitbreiden.
  • Backend- en platformvalidatie Je valideert bedrijfslogica, backendworkflows, REST API's, gedistribueerde services, SQL-databases, Kubernetes-applicaties en integraties met industriële machines. Je helpt de integriteit van data, prestaties en de betrouwbaarheid van het systeem te waarborgen. Je vertaalt technische risico's naar duidelijke validatiescenario's.
  • Coaching & continue verbetering Je ondersteunt ontwikkelaars en quality engineers bij het toepassen van testmethodieken, diagnostische technieken, observability-oplossingen en regressiepreventie binnen hun dagelijkse werkzaamheden. Je coacht ontwikkelaars zodat regressies in hun eigen code zoveel mogelijk worden voorkomen. Je stimuleert praktische testgewoonten die op een natuurlijke manier geïntegreerd worden in het ontwikkelingsproces.

Wie zoeken wij?

  • Je hebt ervaring in softwareontwikkeling binnen frontend-, backend- of full-stackomgevingen, met een sterke focus op geautomatiseerd testen en platformkwaliteit.
  • Je hebt ervaring met het ontwerpen en/of implementeren van geautomatiseerde testoplossingen.
  • Je hebt de interesse en motivatie om het testframework verder uit te bouwen en te verbeteren.
  • Je bent bereid internationaal te reizen om klantlocaties te bezoeken, feedback uit de praktijk te verzamelen en ervaring op te doen in reële productieomgevingen.

Technische vaardigheden

Frontend- en backendervaring zijn even waardevol. De belangrijkste vereiste is dat je begrijpt hoe softwarearchitectuur invloed heeft op testbaarheid, betrouwbaarheid, onderhoudbaarheid en regressierisico's. Hieronder vind je een overzicht van de gewenste competenties. Een perfecte match is niet noodzakelijk; een goede basiskennis is voldoende.

  • Backendvaardigheden De focus ligt op het valideren van platformlogica, servicegedrag, API's, dataconsistentie en betrouwbaarheid binnen gedistribueerde backendsystemen. Ervaring met Angular, C#, .NET, REST API's, PostgreSQL, Python en servicegeoriënteerde architecturen. In staat om gebruiksvriendelijkheid, correctheid, prestaties, dataconsistentie en integratiegedrag te valideren.
  • Frontendvaardigheden De focus ligt op het valideren van gebruikersgerichte workflows, UI-gedrag, geautomatiseerde regressietesten en de interactie tussen frontendapplicaties en onderliggende API's. Ervaring met testtools zoals Playwright, Cypress of Selenium is een pluspunt. In staat om waardevolle testdekking te definiëren voor UI-, API-, integratie- en backendautomatisering.
  • DevOps-vaardigheden De focus ligt op het integreren van geautomatiseerde kwaliteitscontroles binnen CI/CD-pijplijnen, containeromgevingen en cloud-native platformen zodat testen betrouwbaar uitgevoerd worden vóór een release. Ervaring met Azure DevOps, GitHub en CI/CD-pijplijnen. Kennis van Kubernetes en containergebaseerde applicaties.
