Als Solutions Engineer combineer je projectmanagement met logistieke engineering. Je speelt een sleutelrol in zowel de implementatie van nieuwe warehouseactiviteiten als de ontwikkeling van innovatieve logistieke oplossingen voor klanten.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

Project Management

  • Je leidt volledige warehouse-implementaties voor nieuwe klanten.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met Operations, Engineering, Key Account Management, Systems en Customs.
  • Je coördineert projectteams die verantwoordelijk zijn voor WMS-configuraties, warehouse-inrichting en opleidingen.
  • Je bewaakt scope, timing, budget en KPI’s om een succesvolle opstart te garanderen.
  • Je beheert het lessons learned-proces en vertaalt verbeterpunten naar toekomstige projecten.

Solution Engineering

  • Je werkt mee aan RFI-, RFP- en RFQ-trajecten.
  • Je analyseert logistieke data en processen.
  • Je ontwerpt warehouseprocessen, automatiseringsoplossingen en lay-outs.
  • Je voert kostencalculaties uit en berekent tarieven.
  • Je stelt professionele voorstellen op voor nieuwe klanten.
  • Je ondersteunt het Business Development team tijdens klantgesprekken en onderhandelingen.
  • Bachelor- of masterdiploma of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring binnen logistiek, warehousing of supply chain.
  • Sterk analytisch denkvermogen en ervaring met kostencalculaties, ROI-analyses en procesoptimalisatie.
  • Klantgericht, communicatief sterk en resultaatgericht.
  • Hands-on mentaliteit en een echte teamspeler.
  • Stressbestendig en in staat om te werken met strakke deadlines.
  • Vlotte kennis van het Engels.
  • Kennis van Nederlands en/of Frans is een pluspunt.
  • Bereid om internationaal te reizen voor projecten, met verblijven tot maximaal 3 maanden.
