Functie

Voor onze klant in Herentals, actief in metaalrecyclage, kijken we uit naar een allround medewerker.

Als werfmedewerker ben jij de draaischijf op de koer: je helpt klanten, zorgt dat materialen correct verwerkt worden en houdt de site mee draaiende. Daarbij draag je ook verantwoordelijkheid: je kan zelfstandig werken, legt verbanden en houdt het overzicht als het druk wordt.

Takenpakket:

  • Jij bent het eerste aanspreekpunt: je ontvangt klanten met een glimlach en helpt hen bij het lossen van hun materialen.
  • Je zorgt dat de metalen op de juiste plek terechtkomen door ze te laden, lossen en sorteren.
  • Je weegt de materialen apart af en registreert ze correct.
  • Je maakt metalen klaar voor een tweede leven: kabels pellen, stukken zuiver maken met de slijpschijf, …
  • Je voert depolutiewerk uit op binnengebrachte auto’s: vloei- en onderdelen verwijderen.
  • Met de heftruck verplaats je veilig materialen over het terrein.
  • Je werkt afwisselend in de buitenlucht en onder overdekte zones, verspreid over verschillende afdelingen.
  • Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid: je ziet waar werk blijft liggen, legt verbanden en neemt zelfstandig beslissingen als dat nodig is.

Profiel

  • Je steekt graag de handen uit de mouwen en houdt van fysiek werk.
  • Je spreekt goed Nederlands.
  • Je bent klantgericht en kan duidelijk communiceren.
  • Je kan zelfstandig werken en legt verbanden als je achterstand ziet of zaken niet logisch lopen.
  • Je voelt je goed in een afwisselende job, buiten én onder overkapping.
  • Ervaring met heftruck of een heftruckattest is een plus – anders kan je dit via ons behalen.
  • Een achtergrond in metaal, bouw of techniek is mooi meegenomen, maar geen vereiste.
  • Je bent flexibel om af en toe op zaterdag te werken
