Als Sorteermedewerker speel je een belangrijke rol binnen het logistieke proces. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het ontvangen, controleren en sorteren van pakketten en pallets. Dankzij jouw inzet worden goederen op de juiste plek verwerkt en kunnen transporten volgens planning vertrekken.

Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

- Het ontvangen, controleren en verwerken van binnenkomende goederen;

- Het scannen en labelen van pakketten en pallets;

- Het sorteren van zendingen op route en bestemming;

- Het verzendklaar maken van goederen voor transport;

- Het samenwerken met collega's om een soepel logistiek proces te waarborgen.

Je werkt nauwkeurig, houdt het tempo hoog en hebt oog voor kwaliteit. De werkzaamheden vinden plaats in de ochtenduren, waarbij je dienst doorgaans start om 07:30 uur en eindigt rond 10:00 of 11:00 uur.

Samen met je collega's en teamleiders zorg je ervoor dat de dagelijkse operatie efficiënt verloopt. Door de afwisselende werkzaamheden en de korte communicatielijnen krijg je de kans om veel te leren en jezelf verder te ontwikkelen binnen de logistiek.

- Je bent beschikbaar in de ochtenduren op doordeweekse dagen en op zaterdagochtend;

- Je woont in de buurt van Farmsum, Appingedam of Delfzijl;

- Je werkt graag samen en communiceert duidelijk met collega's;

- Je bent op zoek naar een functie voor langere tijd;

- Je bent fysiek fit en vindt het geen probleem om te tillen en veel te bewegen tijdens je werk;

- Ervaring in een magazijn of logistieke omgeving is een pré, maar zeker geen vereiste;

- Je bent gemotiveerd, betrouwbaar en steekt graag de handen uit de mouwen.
