Bij Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport draait onze keuken om veel meer dan dagelijkse service. Van individuele gasten en crewmaaltijden tot conferenties, banketten, bruiloften en galadiners geen dag is hetzelfde. Wij zijn op zoek naar een allround, Sous Chef die energie krijgt van zowel kleinschalige als grootschalige operaties, graag samenwerkt en het voortouw durft te nemen tijdens drukke services. Dit is een mooie kans voor een chef die floreert in een dynamische hotelomgeving en houdt van gestructureerde, energieke keukens.

Wat ga je doen? Als Sous Chef ondersteun je de Head Chef in de volledige keukenoperatie, met een sterke focus op groepen, events en banqueting. Tegelijkertijd werk je zelf actief mee in alle onderdelen van de keuken.

Je zult onder andere:

• Leidinggeven bij banketten, buffetten, conferenties en galadiners

• Meewerken in alle outlets, van individuele service tot grootschalige evenementen

• Ondersteunen bij menuplanning, mise-en-place en een soepele uitvoering van de service

• Zorgen voor kwaliteit en consistentie of het nu om 1 bord of 300 gaat

• De timing afstemmen met bediening en eventteams

• Hoge standaarden bewaken op het gebied van voedselveiligheid, hygiëne, voorraadbeheer en waste management

• Het keukenteam trainen, ondersteunen en motiveren, vooral tijdens drukke momenten

• Bijsturen waar nodig , flexibiliteit en overzicht zijn essentieel

Deze rol past bij jou als je:

• Ervaring hebt als Sous Chef of Junior Sous (hotel- of banquetingervaring is een grote pré)

• Flexibel bent en een hands-on mentaliteit hebten houdt van afwisseling in je werkdag

• Zelfverzekerd schakelt tussen à-la-carteservice en grote events

• Georganiseerd en rustig blijft onder druk

• Trots bent op structuur, planning en uitvoering

• Het goede voorbeeld geeft en prettig samenwerkt in een divers team

• Goed Engels spreekt (Nederlands is een voordeel)
