Duik in de wereld van Waterschap Vallei en Veluwe. Met ruim 650 medewerkers werken wij iedere dag aan veilige dijken, gezuiverd rioolwater en voldoende en schoon water in sloten, beken en kanalen. Dat doen we voor 1,1 miljoen mensen die wonen in ons gebied verspreid over 37 gemeenten. Onze ambitie: in 2050 volledig circulair en klimaatpositief zijn. We zijn daarom regelmatig op zoek naar frisdenkers, gepassioneerde vakspecialisten, bedreven technici en bedrijfsvoeringprofessionals die graag hun bijdrage leveren in het realiseren van duurzame ambities. Innovaties en eigen inbreng De uitdagingen in ons werkgebied zijn groot. Daarom willen wij ook ruimte bieden aan vernieuwende ideeën en innovaties. Zo willen wij door continu waterspanningen te meten in peilbuizen rondom een waterkering meer precies inzicht krijgen van de sterkte van deze kering op het gebied van macrostabiliteit en piping. Bevergraverij willen we gaan opsporen met glasvezeldetectie. Dit zijn ideeën die ons team van technisch specialisten heeft bedacht en die we nu verder met collega's van andere waterschappen en STOWA uitwerken. Mooi te merken dat in onze sector samenwerken vanzelfsprekend is! Als specialist waterveiligheid geef je invulling aan het hoogwaterveiligheidsbeleid van het waterschap.
