Doel van de functie

De begeleider helpt schoolverzuim en schooluitval voorkomen, ondersteunt leerlingen die tijdelijk niet kunnen deelnemen aan de les en ondersteunt de tuchtcoördinator bij de opvolging van gedrag en afspraken.

Kerntaken

  • Volgt afwezigheden, B-codes en herhaald te laat komen op.
  • Bespreekt oorzaken van schoolverzuim met leerlingen en ouders en maakt concrete begeleidingsafspraken.
  • Werkt samen met de leerlingenbegeleiding, leerkrachten en het CLB.
  • Vangt leerlingen op in time-in, helpt hen tot rust te komen en begeleidt hun terugkeer naar de klas.
  • Ondersteunt herstelgesprekken en helpt leerlingen verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen.
  • Ondersteunt de tuchtcoördinator bij de opvolging van incidenten, gedragsafspraken en opgelegde maatregelen.
  • Registreert contacten, afspraken en vervolgacties in het leerlingvolgsysteem.

Werkwijze

De begeleider werkt onder verantwoordelijkheid van de directie, vanuit de principes van Nieuwe Autoriteit en de kernwaarden Zelfzeker, Zelfredzaam en Zorgzaam. De aanpak combineert betrokkenheid, duidelijke grenzen en consequente opvolging. Beslissingen over tuchtmaatregelen blijven bij de bevoegde personen en organen.

Verwacht profiel

De begeleider communiceert helder, blijft rustig bij weerstand en conflicten, werkt nauw samen met collega’s en gaat zorgvuldig om met vertrouwelijke informatie.

  • Je hebt affiniteit met jongeren en leerlingenbegeleiding.
  • Je combineert een betrokken houding met duidelijke grenzen.
  • Je communiceert vlot met leerlingen, ouders en collega’s.
  • Je blijft rustig bij weerstand en conflicten.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, volgt afspraken consequent op en werkt graag samen.
  • Je gaat discreet om met vertrouwelijke informatie.
  • Ervaring met schoolverzuim, herstelgericht werken of Nieuwe Autoriteit is een pluspunt.
