Spreekuurassistent Acute Oogzorg (32-36 uur) Een patiënt die plotseling minder ziet, pijn heeft of zich zorgen maakt over zijn ogen, wil snel weten wat er aan de hand is. Op de Acute Oogzorg vang jij patiënten op, stel je hen gerust en zorg je ervoor dat hun bezoek en het zorgproces goed verlopen. Wat je doet Als spreekuurassistent ben je een belangrijke schakel op de Acute Oogzorg. Patiënten komen hier met uiteenlopende acute oogklachten en weten vaak niet wat er aan de hand is. Vanaf het moment dat zij binnenkomen, ben jij een vertrouwd aanspreekpunt. Je brengt rust en duidelijkheid en houdt tegelijkertijd overzicht over het verloop van hun bezoek. Je werkt nauw samen met oogartsen in opleiding en andere collega's op de afdeling. Dat maakt je werk dynamisch: vooraf weet je nooit precies hoeveel patiënten er komen, met welke klachten en hoe de dag verloopt. Het ene moment is het rustig, het volgende moment komen meerdere patiënten tegelijk binnen. Juist dan komt het aan op goed schakelen, overzicht houden en ervoor zorgen dat het spreekuur soepel blijft verlopen. Omdat op de Acute Oogzorg patiënten met veel verschillende oogheelkundige klachten worden behandeld, krijg je bovendien veel mee van verschillende ziektebeelden en onderzoeken. Zo bouw je tijdens je werk steeds meer kennis op van de oogheelkunde. Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit: - Je ontvangt patiënten, controleert hun gegevens en zorgt voor een goede start van hun bezoek. - Je houdt zicht op het zorgproces en begeleidt patiënten bij de verschillende stappen en onderzoeken. - Je informeert patiënten over wat er gaat gebeuren en stelt hen waar nodig gerust. - Je verzorgt de bijbehorende administratie, waaronder het maken van vervolgafspraken. - Je signaleert waar werkprocessen beter kunnen en doet actief voorstellen voor verbetering.
