Binnen een internationale industriële omgeving met activiteiten in meer dan 160 landen neem je een sleutelrol op binnen de regionale financiële organisatie. De functie van Sr Director, Finance staat centraal in de EMEA+SAL‑regio en combineert strategische aansturing, operationele financiële discipline en leiderschap over diverse landen en teams. Als Sr Director, Finance fungeer je als regionale CFO en werk je nauw samen met het regionale management om strategie om te zetten in concrete resultaten. De rol vraagt een sterke financiële visie, een onafhankelijke stem en de capaciteit om een hoogperformant financieel team uit te bouwen.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Financiële prestaties binnen Europa, Midden-Oosten, Zuidoost-Azië en Latijns-Amerika sturen en bewaken.
  • Financiële strategie vertalen naar operationele uitvoering met focus op discipline, forecasting en alignment met corporate doelstellingen.
  • Verantwoordelijkheid dragen voor accounting, controls, financiële systemen, operations finance, reporting, analyse, commercial finance en compliance.
  • Een leidende rol opnemen in de regionale finance‑transformatie en maturiteit van processen, analytics en business partnership verhogen.
  • Samenwerken met CFO en VP/GM op strategische dossiers en deelnemen aan cross-functionele teams.
  • Een cultuur van integriteit en accountability stimuleren binnen de volledige regio.
  • Aansturen van vijf regionale finance leaders en het hoofd van FP&A.
  • Volledige P&L‑verantwoordelijkheid opnemen en financiële waarheid duidelijk en tijdig communiceren.
  • Regionale AOP, forecasts en strategische plannen beheren en versterken via een bottom‑up aanpak.
  • Sparringpartner zijn voor VP/GM EMEA+SAL en commerciële teams, inclusief challenge van marges, commitments en businessplannen.
  • Operationele finance‑teams aansturen en een consistente operating cadence uitbouwen over alle sites.
  • Financiële discipline bewaken in cost management, capex en werkkapitaal.
  • Pricing, deal economics en margin/mix‑analyses ondersteunen zonder commerciële flexibiliteit te hinderen.
  • Regionale projecten leiden zoals product rationalisatie en verbeterde site‑level analyses.
  • Als Sr Director, Finance een sterke talentpool ontwikkelen en financiële leiders binnen de regio laten groeien.
  • Minimaal 15 jaar ervaring in finance leadership binnen internationale industriële omgevingen.
  • Chartered qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA of equivalent).
  • Ervaring met volledige P&L‑verantwoordelijkheid in manufacturing, automotive, industrial of capital goods.
  • Sterke achtergrond in FP&A, operational finance en controllership.
  • Vermogen om financiële rapportering en analyses te verbeteren en businessbeslissingen te beïnvloeden.
  • Onafhankelijke financiële stem met bewezen integriteit en transparantie.
  • Capaciteit om teams te inspireren, te verbinden en cross-regionale samenwerking te stimuleren.
