Over de functie Voor het Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken zoeken wij een senior functioneel beheerder die als coördinator en coach de dienstverlening van de afdeling functioneel beheer naar een hoger niveau brengt. De afdeling valt onder de hoofddirectie Consulaire en Visumzaken (HDCV) en ondersteunt diensten rond visa, reisdocumenten, consulaire bijstand, publieksinformatie, crisisbeheersing en bedrijfsvoering.In deze rol ben jij de verbinder tussen business, IT en leveranciers. Je denkt en werkt ketengericht, houdt overzicht en stelt samen met je stakeholders de juiste prioriteiten. Je staat continu in nauw contact met de interne klanten binnen HDCV, zodat nieuwe of gewijzigde functionaliteit goed landt en kerngebruikers worden begeleid. Daarnaast stem je af met de ICT-afdeling (IDI) en onderhoud je periodiek contact met de leveranciers van de applicaties. Op inhoud stuur je een klein team van vier fte aan, dat je snel naar een professioneler niveau wil brengen.Naast het functionele ketenbeheer van bestaande applicaties word je betrokken bij upgrades, innovatieve projecten en implementaties van nieuwe systemen. Zo is recent wereldwijd een nieuw e-kassasysteem geïmplementeerd, loopt er een project voor een nieuw systeem voor consulair maatschappelijke bijstand aan Nederlanders in nood in het buitenland, en staat een impactvolle verbetering binnen het visumproces op de rol.Achtergrond van de opdrachtJe maakt deel uit van een team van circa achttien medewerkers dat het functioneel beheer verzorgt van ongeveer twintig applicaties: systemen die het visum- en reisdocumentenproces ondersteunen (CSO), het proces voor consulaire bijstand, publieksinformatie aan Nederlanders en niet-Nederlanders in het buitenland (NWW), crisisbeheersing en bedrijfsvoering.
