Nieuws • 01 september 2026 VACATURE Advocaat/stafmedewerker Inleiding Als advocaat/stafmedewerker is geen dag hetzelfde. Je levert een wezenlijke bijdrage aan een goed functionerende balie en blijft op de hoogte van wat er juridisch reilt en zeilt, ook in de actualiteit. Het ene moment ben je bezig met een onderzoek in het kader van het toezicht, het andere moment adviseer je een advocaat of breng je een rechtzoekende en een advocaat samen. Welkom bij de orde van advocaten Amsterdam De Amsterdamse Orde van Advocaten is de beroepsorganisatie van advocaten in het arrondissement Amsterdam. Wij zijn er voor rechtzoekenden en de circa 7000 advocaten in Amsterdam. Het bureau van de Amsterdamse orde is gevestigd in een monumentaal pand aan het Museumplein. Op het bureau werken ongeveer 30 medewerkers die de raad van de orde en de deken ondersteunen bij hun wettelijke taken. Het team waarvoor wij een nieuwe collega zoeken, bestaat uit 8 advocaten/stafmedewerkers. De werkzaamheden In de functie van advocaat/stafmedewerker ga je samen met je collega's aan de slag met afwisselende werkzaamheden die zien op het toezicht op de advocatuur. Hierbij kun je denken aan: - Het onderzoeken en bemiddelen van klachten die tegen advocaten worden ingediend; - Het geven van (zowel telefonisch als schriftelijk) advies aan advocaten over tuchtrechtelijke dilemma's; - Het toezien op de naleving van de voor de advocatuur geldende wet- en regelgeving, bijvoorbeeld door middel van (kantoor)onderzoeken; - Het behandelen van verzoeken tot aanwijzing van een advocaat; - Het voeren van tuchtrechtelijke procedures namens de deken bij de raad van discipline en het hof van discipline. Wie zoeken wij? Wij zijn op zoek naar iemand die: - 28-32 uur per week beschikbaar is; - Een afgeronde advocaat-stage heeft en ruime praktijkervaring (zo nodig word je opnieuw beëdigd); - Affiniteit heeft met het tuchtrecht of het leuk lijkt om zich in het tuchtrecht te verdiepen. ...
