- Stage Bodemonderzoek PFAS Een stage om trots op te zijn Waarschijnlijk heb je de term PFAS al voorbij zien komen in het nieuws. Dit zijn schadelijke stoffen die bijna niet verdwijnen uit de natuur. Ze blijven aanwezig in de bodem en het water en kunnen zo ook bij mensen en dieren terechtkomen. Dat maakt PFAS een groot probleem voor het milieu én onze gezondheid. Ook in Zaanstad speelt dit onderwerp, terwijl nog niet alles duidelijk is over waar de risico's precies zitten. Tijdens deze stage ga jij op zoek naar plekken waar PFAS voorkomt (de zogenaamde hotspots). Je helpt om deze in kaart te brengen en ontdekt wellicht nieuwe inzichten. Het mooie? Je werkt aan een actueel probleem én jouw werk doet er echt toe. Zo draag je direct bij aan een schonere en veiligere leefomgeving. Wat ga je doen? Als stagiair bodemonderzoek PFAS combineer je onderzoek met praktijkervaring binnen het thema bodem, met een specifieke focus op PFAS. Je houdt je onder andere bezig met: - Het controleren van het vooronderzoek naar PFAS-verdachte locaties in Zaanstad bij verschillende bronnen zoals het archief of het interviewen van personen; - Het interpreteren en prioriteren van de resultaten van het vooronderzoek en deze omzetten naar een onderzoeksvoorstel voor de uitvoering van een bodemonderzoek; - Meedraaien binnen het team Bodem en Ondergrond. Aan het einde van je stage lever je een concreet resultaat op: een overzicht van PFAS-locaties in Zaanstad, inclusief advies over vervolgonderzoek. Jouw collega's. Bij gemeente Zaanstad. Als stagiair werk je binnen ons team Bodem en Ondergrond, dat bestaat uit 10 collega's die zich in meer of mindere mate bezighouden met het thema bodem. Je komt terecht in een ervaren en enthousiast team dat je tijdens je stageperiode meeneemt in de dagelijkse werkzaamheden. Je voert het PFAS-onderzoek niet alleen uit.
