Doordat wij een groot restaurant zijn, verwacht Hotel New York hierom van jou enige zelfstandigheid, enthousiasme en leergierigheid. Er zijn genoeg mogelijkheden bij Hotel New York! Allereerst laten ze je "landen" in de organisatie en kennis maken met je collega's maar ook met de gerechten en dranken die geserveerd worden. Als je dit onder de knie hebt gaan ze een stapje verder, hierbij kan je denken aan het lopen van een partij in de zalen, gastontvangst staan en trainingen volgen voor het kelnerschap. Ben jij kelner geworden? Dan kan jij je eigen wijk lopen in het Café-Restaurant. Hoeveel tijd hier overheen gaat is helemaal afhankelijk van je niveau en tempo. Duurt het wat langer? Geeft niks! De leermeesters gunnen je deze tijd! Ben je al snel zelfstandig aan het werk en gaat alles goed… dan kan het zomaar een stuk sneller gaan. Regelmatig zijn er evaluatiegesprekken zodat de leerdoelen naar elkaar kunnen worden uitgesproken. Wat maakt jou de geschikte leerling of stagiair(e)? - Je volgt een relevante BOL of BBL opleiding. - Als je BBL Leerling bent ga je 1 dag naar school en ben je 4 dagen onder de pannen bij ons. - Jij hebt ervoor gekozen om een horeca opleiding te volgen, dan horen daar ook de weekenddiensten bij. Niet per se het hele weekend hoor maar 1 weekenddag moet je wel beschikbaar zijn. De diensten zijn verder zowel op de dag als in de avond. - Je hebt eigen vervoer .
