Public Matters Stage Public Affairs & Lobby 15-10-2026 Wij zijn op zoek naar een enthousiaste stagiair(e) met interesse in public affairs en strategische communicatie, die klaar is om de wereld van beleidsvorming en politieke besluitvorming te ontdekken. Vanuit ons kantoor in Den Haag volg je het politieke nieuws en overheidsbeleid op de voet en zet je net dat stapje extra voor onze cliënten. Je denkt actief mee over strategische vraagstukken en leert hoe je organisaties kunt adviseren over ontwikkelingen in politiek Den Haag en Brussel. Over Public Matters Public Matters is hét public affairs- & lobbyadviesbureau, gespecialiseerd in beleidsbeïnvloeding en strategische communicatie. Wij adviseren organisaties over hoe zij een gewenste positie kunnen verwerven in de politieke, bestuurlijke of publieke arena. Vanuit die rol houden we ons bezig met grote maatschappelijke vraagstukken in onder andere klimaatbeleid, digitalisering, mobiliteit en de zorg - en ondersteunen we toonaangevende organisaties op strategisch niveau. Hoe ziet jouw stagedag eruit? De dag begint met een call met het gehele team. Vervolgens sla je 's ochtends de (digitale) krant open en check je de laatste politieke ontwikkelingen. Je wil de eerste zijn die deze analyseert en onze collega's en cliënten informeert met een scherpe duiding. Verder ondersteun je collega's bij het ontwikkelen van strategieën voor onze cliënten. Zo ga je bijvoorbeeld aan de slag met het in kaart brengen en benaderen van relevante stakeholders, zoals ministeries, de Tweede Kamer en (branche)organisaties. Tijdens je stage werk je mee aan projecten voor uiteenlopende cliënten, van bedrijven tot maatschappelijke organisaties, gemeenten en universiteiten. Je ondersteunt hen bij vraagstukken over beleidsbeïnvloeding, stakeholdermanagement, reputatie en zichtbaarheid (onder andere via de media) en analyseert de impact van politieke ontwikkelingen en nieuw beleid.
