Je vertaalt geografische inzichten in kaarten en modellen die het netwerk echt vooruitbrengen. Als stagiair Location Intelligence bij PostNL werk je aan geografische en strategische vraagstukken die rechtstreeks impact hebben op het PostNL-netwerk. Je onderzoekt waar nieuwe PostNL-punten en pakketautomaten nodig zijn, analyseert kansen in de dekking en ontdekt hoe pakketvolume en consumentengedrag het netwerk beïnvloeden. Met data, GIS en analytics vertaal je inzichten in kaarten, modellen en scenario's die daadwerkelijk gebruikt worden voor beslissingen over het landelijke netwerk. Wat ga je doen? - Geografische analyses uitvoeren met Python, ArcGIS en Excel op grote hoeveelheden locatie-, operationele en andere relevante data - Onderzoeken waar nieuwe PostNL-punten en pakketautomaten optimaal kunnen worden geplaatst en waar dekking kan worden verbeterd - Resultaten vertalen naar kaarten, modellen en scenario's die collega's kunnen begrijpen en gebruiken - Je bevindingen presenteren en concrete adviezen formuleren voor de verdere netwerkontwikkeling - Volledig medraaien in het Location Intelligence-team aan actuele vraagstukken - Indien van toepassing een eigen onderzoeks- of afstudeervraagstuk uitvoeren Wat neem je mee? - Een Hbo- of Wo-opleiding op het gebied van (economische) geografie, planologie, GIS, data science, business analytics of vergelijkbare richting - Analytische sterkte en enthousiasme voor data en geografische vraagstukken - Affiniteit met data-analyse, GIS en Location Intelligence; bij voorkeur enige ervaring met Python, ArcGIS en/of Excel - Het vermogen om analytische resultaten helder te visualiseren en presenteren aan collega's ...
