Over ons Biscuiterie Thijs NV is een familiebedrijf en één van de Europese marktleiders in industriële wafelproductie. Met meer dan 500 collega’s zorgen we dagelijks voor wafels van topkwaliteit in winkels door heel Europa. Sinds onze start in 1974 hebben we een modern machinepark uitgebouwd, verspreid over vijf sites (Herentals, Herenthout, Weelde en Maasmechelen).

Door onze sterke groei zijn we op zoek naar gedreven storingstechniekers om ons team te versterken.

Jouw rol

Als storingstechnieker/elektromechanieker ben jij de technische spil van onze onderhoudsafdeling. Je werkt in 2 ploegen en zorgt ervoor dat onze productielijnen betrouwbaar, veilig en efficiënt blijven draaien. Je analyseert storingen, denkt mee over verbeteringen en zorgt voor een optimale werking van onze installaties. Samen met je collega’s bouw je aan een modern machinepark dat klaar is voor de toekomst.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Oplossen van elektrische en mechanische storingen.
  • Preventief en curatief onderhoud uitvoeren aan ons machinepark.
  • Elektrische defecten opsporen in installaties en componenten (motoren, sensoren, frequentieregelaars).
  • PLC- en robotsturingen uitlezen en gebruiken voor storingsanalyse.
  • Meewerken aan technische investeringsprojecten en modernisaties.
  • Zorgen voor orde, netheid en veiligheid op de werkvloer.
  • Helder communiceren over uitgevoerde interventies en verbeterpunten.

Wie ben jij?

  • Je hebt een diploma in elektromechanica, elektrotechniek of industriële onderhoudstechnieken (A2/A1) of gelijkwaardige ervaring.
  • Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring als technieker/elektromechanieker.
  • Goede kennis van mechanica, elektriciteit, hydraulica, pneumatica en automatisatie.
  • Je kunt PLC’s en robotsturingen uitlezen.
  • Hands-on, leergierig en een passie voor techniek.
  • Zelfstandig én een echte teamplayer.
  • Flexibel en oplossingsgericht.
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en hebt basiskennis Engels.
  • Bereid om in 2 ploegen te werken.
  • En natuurlijk: je hebt een hart voor wafels!
