Voor een gevestigde onderneming in de regio van Torhout zijn we op zoek naar een Strategic Buyer. Deze familiale organisatie bouwde doorheen de jaren een sterke positie uit binnen de automotive sector en telt vandaag bijna 300 medewerkers verspreid over verschillende Belgische vestigingen. Dankzij hun jarenlange expertise en focus op kwaliteit blijven ze een betrouwbare partner binnen hun marktsegment.

Vanuit een uitgebreid technisch serviceapparaat ondersteunt het bedrijf klanten met onderhoud, herstellingen en onderdelenvoorziening. Een sterke logistieke organisatie en een brede leveranciersbasis vormen daarbij de ruggengraat van hun dienstverlening. Om deze aankoopactiviteiten verder te optimaliseren, zoeken zij een Strategisch Aankoper die mee richting geeft aan het aankoopbeleid.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Je ontwikkelt en implementeert een doordachte aankoopstrategie voor automotive onderdelen, waarbij je continu zoekt naar opportuniteiten om beschikbaarheid, rendabiliteit en kwaliteit te versterken
  • Dankzij jouw commerciële flair bouw je sterke relaties uit met internationale leveranciers en onderhandel je succesvolle afspraken rond prijzen, levertermijnen, volumes en contractvoorwaarden
  • Marktontwikkelingen, prijsbewegingen en voorraadrotaties analyseer je proactief om snel in te spelen op trends en competitieve voordelen te creëren voor de organisatie
  • Samen met collega's van sales, warehouse, workshop en operations zorg je voor een optimale beschikbaarheid van onderdelen en draag je bij aan een efficiënte goederenstroom binnen de internationale activiteiten
  • Jouw expertise zet je in om nieuwe sourcingmogelijkheden te identificeren, KPI’s rond aankoopprestaties op te volgen en het aankoopteam te ondersteunen als inhoudelijke specialist binnen spare parts procurement
  • Een Bachelor- of Masterdiploma in een economische, technische of logistieke richting vormt een sterke basis voor deze functie
  • Meerdere jaren ervaring binnen strategic procurement, senior purchasing of een gelijkaardige aankoopfunctie zijn noodzakelijk, bij voorkeur in een technische of automotive omgeving
  • Vlot werken in Nederlands, Frans en Engels is vereist om internationale leveranciers professioneel te beheren; kennis van Duits biedt een belangrijke meerwaarde
