Voor een internationaal actieve technologische productieorganisatie in regio Deinze zoeken we een ervaren Strategic Procurement Manager.

In deze functie krijg je een sleutelrol binnen de internationale supply chain. Je bepaalt mee de aankoopstrategie voor grondstoffen, technische componenten en diensten en bouwt duurzame relaties uit met strategische leveranciers in Europa, Amerika en Azië.

Je combineert strategisch inzicht en commerciële slagkracht met een hands-on aanpak. Je onderhandelt, volgt internationale markten op, beheert leveranciersrisico's en zoekt voortdurend naar mogelijkheden om kosten, kwaliteit en leverzekerheid verder te optimaliseren.

Jouw rol Je neemt ownership over een aantal strategisch belangrijke aankoopcategorieën en zorgt ervoor dat de organisatie wereldwijd kan rekenen op betrouwbare en competitieve leveranciers.

Concreet:

  • Je ontwikkelt en implementeert sourcingstrategieën voor grondstoffen, metalen, technische componenten en externe diensten.
  • Je bouwt relaties uit met strategische leveranciers en beheert bestaande internationale partnerships.
  • Je onderhandelt over prijzen, voorwaarden en commerciële overeenkomsten.
  • Je gaat actief op zoek naar nieuwe leveranciers en begeleidt het selectie- en kwalificatieproces.
  • Je volgt internationale marktontwikkelingen, grondstofprijzen en relevante prijsmechanismen op.
  • Je identificeert mogelijke risico's binnen de supply chain en vertaalt deze naar concrete acties.
  • Je initieert en realiseert cost-reductionprojecten zonder daarbij kwaliteit, leverzekerheid of operationele efficiëntie uit het oog te verliezen.
  • Je volgt de prestaties van leveranciers op en stuurt bij wanneer afspraken rond kwaliteit, levering of service niet worden gehaald.
  • Bij complexe leverings- of kwaliteitsproblemen werk je samen met de betrokken interne en externe partijen aan structurele oplossingen.
  • Je monitort relevante procurement-KPI's en vertaalt cijfers en marktinformatie naar heldere inzichten voor het management.
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat aankoopactiviteiten voldoen aan relevante regelgeving en interne standaarden.
  • Je verdiept je in productieprocessen en materiaalstromen om aankoopbeslissingen niet alleen commercieel, maar ook technisch en operationeel goed te kunnen beoordelen.

Je werkt hiervoor intensief samen met collega's uit onder andere Operations, Planning, Quality, R&D en Logistics, zowel lokaal als internationaal. We zoeken een ervaren procurementprofessional die graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt en zich thuis voelt in een technische en internationale productieomgeving.

Je:

  • beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een economische, technische, supply chain- of vergelijkbare richting;
  • hebt minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen strategic purchasing, sourcing of procurement;
  • hebt bij voorkeur ervaring binnen een industriële of productieomgeving;
  • bent sterk in onderhandelingen en leveranciersmanagement;
  • begrijpt hoe aankoopbeslissingen doorwerken binnen supply chain, logistiek en productie;
  • hebt ervaring met ERP-systemen en relevante procurementtools;
  • bent analytisch sterk en kunt marktinformatie en prijsontwikkelingen interpreteren;
  • kunt zelfstandig werken, prioriteiten bepalen en ownership nemen;
  • combineert strategisch denken met een pragmatische, hands-on aanpak;
  • durft bestaande leveranciers, processen en werkwijzen kritisch in vraag te stellen;
  • bent communicatief sterk en kunt gemakkelijk schakelen met zowel technische als commerciële stakeholders;
  • spreekt vloeiend Engels;
  • bent bereid om occasioneel internationaal te reizen.
