Dit ga je doen Als Strategisch Adviseur Kwaliteit en Control bij de gemeente Vlaardingen krijg je een opdracht waarin jouw expertise direct bijdraagt aan een sterke en betrouwbare publieke organisatie. Je duikt in de manier waarop interne beheersing, rechtmatigheid, auditing en risicomanagement zijn ingericht en kijkt vooral naar de volgende stap: hoe kan het slimmer, sterker en beter geborgd? De gemeente Vlaardingen staat voor een tijdelijke ontwikkelopgave en zoekt een ervaren specialist die daarin het verschil kan maken. Je krijgt de ruimte om de huidige situatie scherp te analyseren, verbeterpunten zichtbaar te maken en deze vervolgens samen met de organisatie om te zetten in concrete maatregelen en werkwijzen. Daarbij werk je niet vanaf de zijlijn. Je gaat in gesprek met management, control en proceseigenaren, stelt kritische vragen en brengt verschillende belangen en perspectieven samen. Je weet complexe materie helder uit te leggen en krijgt mensen mee in verbeteringen die misschien financieel of organisatorisch beginnen, maar uiteindelijk bijdragen aan een professioneel bestuur en een betrouwbare dienstverlening aan inwoners. Je begint met het creëren van overzicht. Hoe is de interne beheersing momenteel ingericht? Waar zitten risico's? Welke processen werken goed en waar liggen kansen om de grip te vergroten? Je analyseert de bestaande situatie en brengt de belangrijkste ontwikkelpunten helder in kaart. Vervolgens ga je aan de slag met de rechtmatigheidsverantwoording. Je onderzoekt hoe processen en controles zijn ingericht en ontwikkelt concrete verbetervoorstellen.
