Je verbindt beleid, bestuur en praktijk en maakt in korte tijd zichtbaar verschil. Omschrijving van de opdrachtgever: Bergen op Zoom is een vestingstad op de Brabantse Wal, waar land en zee, zand en klei elkaar raken. De compacte stad heeft een historische kern, omringd door water, bos en heide. Samen met Halsteren, Lepelstraat en Heimolen vormt de stad een gemeente met een rijke cultuurhistorie. De ligging tussen de havens van Rotterdam en Antwerpen maakt Bergen op Zoom bijzonder. Een sterke sociale basis zorgt ervoor dat inwoners mee kunnen doen en dat ondersteuning dichtbij en passend beschikbaar is. Daar werkt de gemeente elke dag aan. Voor 6 maanden zoekt Bergen op Zoom een stevige en zelfstandige strategisch beleidsadviseur die de beleidsontwikkeling en uitvoering rond de sociale basis verder brengt. De opdracht bestaat uit 2 delen. In de eerste maanden ligt de nadruk op de sociale basis en het subsidieproces rond de subsidieregeling Maatschappelijke Opgaven & Eigen Kracht. Je houdt overzicht, brengt samenhang aan en zorgt dat het proces zorgvuldig en voortvarend verloopt. Daarna verschuift de focus naar de doorontwikkeling van het sociaal domein. Je denkt mee over de lange termijn, maar weet ook wanneer er gewoon een concreet voorstel of besluit moet liggen. Je komt te werken op de afdeling Maatschappelijke Ontwikkeling.
