Woningbouw, klimaatadaptatie, biodiversiteit, landbouw, water, energie, mobiliteit, gezondheid én Schiphol vragen allemaal ruimte. Maar ruimte kun je maar één keer gebruiken. Hoe zorgen we ervoor dat al deze ontwikkelingen niet naast elkaar plaatsvinden, maar samen bijdragen aan een sterk, herkenbaar en toekomstbestendig landschap? Daar hebben we jou voor nodig. Als Strategisch Landschapsarchitect kijk je verder dan het afzonderlijke plan of project. Je ontwikkelt de koers voor landschap, verbindt grote ruimtelijke opgaven met elkaar en zorgt dat landschappelijke kwaliteit vanaf het begin onderdeel is van keuzes over de toekomst van Haarlemmermeer. Dit is een nieuwe functie binnen team Landschap & Stedenbouw. Een positie met ruimte om het vakgebied verder te ontwikkelen én stevig te positioneren binnen onze organisatie. Werken als Strategisch Landschapsarchitect bij gemeente Haarlemmermeer betekent… richting geven aan de gemeentebrede strategische koers voor landschap en ruimtelijke kwaliteit; landschap verbinden met woningbouw, klimaat, biodiversiteit, water, landbouw, energie, mobiliteit, gezondheid en de ontwikkeling rond Schiphol; management en bestuur adviseren over ruimtelijke keuzes met impact op de lange termijn; over afzonderlijke projecten heen kijken en zorgen voor samenhang tussen de vele ruimtelijke ontwikkelingen in Haarlemmermeer; optreden als vakinhoudelijk boegbeeld, sparringpartner en coach voor collega’s binnen het vakgebied; samenwerken met partijen als provincie, Hoogheemraadschap, Schiphol, agrariërs, natuurorganisaties, ontwikkelaars en andere regionale partners; adviseren bij grote projecten en gebiedsontwikkelingen. Jouw functie Haarlemmermeer staat voor grote ruimtelijke veranderingen. Tegelijk verandert het vakgebi

landschap zelf. De Omgevingswet, natuurherstel, klimaatadaptatie, groenblauwe dooradering, verzilting, nieuwe vormen van landbouw, energie-infrastructuur en de gezonde leefomgeving stellen nieuwe eisen aan de manier waarop we naar onze ruimte kijken. Veel van die vraagstukken zijn onlosmakelijk met elkaar verbonden. Een keuze voor landbouw raakt bijvoorbeeld ook water, bodem, biodiversiteit, energie en gezondheid. En ontwikkelingen rond Schiphol raken niet alleen economie en mobiliteit, maar ook landschap, leefomgeving en ruimtelijke kwaliteit. Juist daarom zoeken we iemand die niet alleen ín de opgaven werkt, maar ook de samenhang ertússen organiseert. Als Strategisch Landschapsarchitect ontwikkel en actualiseer je gemeentebrede visies, ruimtelijke uitgangspunten en strategieën. Je vertaalt maatschappelijke ontwikkelingen, bestuurlijke ambities en nieuwe wet- en regelgeving naar wat deze concreet betekenen voor de inrichting van Haarlemmermeer. De kern van de functie is strategische advisering, organisatiebrede invloed, integrale afweging, vakinhoudelijk leiderschap en kwaliteitsborging. Daarbij stel je niet alleen de vraag hoe een ontwikkeling landschappelijk kan worden ingepast. Je adviseert ook over of, waar en onder welke ruimtelijke voorwaarden een ontwikkeling passend is. Van afzonderlijke projecten naar één landschappelijke koers Haarlemmermeer kent vele ruimtelijke ontwikkelingen die allemaal invloed hebben op het landschap én op elkaar. Jij bewaakt het grotere geheel. Je werkt bijvoorbeeld aan vraagstukken rond de toekomst van het landelijk gebied en de landbouw, waterstructuur en verzilting, klimaatadaptatie, natuurherstel en biodiversiteit, energie-infrastructuur en zonnevelden, stedelijke vergroening, een gezonde leefomgeving en de ruimtelijke betekenis van Schiphol. Je brengt disciplines en belangen bij elkaar en vertaalt deze naar een langetermijnperspectief. Zo voorkom je dat ieder project of beleidsterrein zijn eigen oplossing ont
