Als structural engineer ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de solide basis van deze meesterwerken. Van het ontwerpen en berekenen van staal- en aluminiumconstructies tot het optimaliseren van structurele veiligheid en efficiëntie. Elke dag werk je samen met gepassioneerde collega's om technologische grenzen te verleggen en dromen werkelijkheid te maken. Wat doet een structural engineer bij Feadship? Jouw rol als structural engineer begint al bij het eerste ontwerp. Samen met design- en engineeringteams vertaal je creatieve ideeën naar technisch haalbare en veilige constructies. Je houdt rekening met het gebruik van hoogwaardige materialen, gewicht, krachten en de hoogste kwaliteitsnormen binnen de jachtbouw. Daarbij zorg je dat alles voldoet aan internationale regelgeving en eisen van classificatiebureaus. Voor elke structural engineer betekent dit een uitdagend speelveld waarin jouw expertise centraal staat. Wat je werkzaamheden onder andere omvatten: - Ontwerpen en berekenen van staal- en aluminiumconstructies voor het casco. - Analyseren van structurele integriteit en veiligheid. - Adviseren over materiaalkeuzes, sterkteberekeningen en gewichtsoptimalisatie. - Samenwerken met afdelingen als design, engineering en productie voor een naadloze uitvoering. - Oplossen van constructieve vraagstukken tijdens de bouwfase. Elke dag is anders. De ene dag ben je op kantoor bezig met berekeningen en tekeningen, de andere dag loop je over de werf om te zien hoe jouw ontwerpen werkelijkheid worden.
