STUURMAN HOPPERZUIGER Jouw nieuwe functie Als Stuurman Hopperzuiger: - manoeuvreer je het schip onder alle vaar- en weersomstandigheden in gebieden van ruim en nauw vaarwater; - voer je een veilige navigatie, waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van de aanwezige hulpmiddelen; - ben je verantwoordelijk voor de brug-, dek- en navigatieapparatuur; - sta je de scheepsverkeersleiding, kustwachtstations en andere schepen op correcte wijze te woord; - ben je veiligheidsofficier, en als zodanig voorzitter van het veiligheidscomité; - ben je de verantwoordelijke voor het in goede staat houden van de aanwezige reddings-, veiligheids-, brandbestrijdings- en milieubeschermende middelen; - fungeer je als Ship Security Officer, met de daarbij behorende taken. Jouw talent Je beschikt over: - vaarbevoegdheid minimaal stuurman tot 3.000 GT (STCW); - de kwaliteit om als 1e stuurman zelfstandig een wacht te lopen en personeel aan te sturen; - afgeronde basis veiligheidstraining; - certificaat Ship Security Officer (SSO); - certificaat 'advanced firefighting'; - certificaat 'proficiency in survival crafts and rescue boats, other than fast rescue boats'; - GMDSS general operator's certificaat; - kennis van de ISM-code; - kennis van MS Office; - bekendheid met een sleephopperzuiger of een soortgelijk vaartuig; - ·goede beheersing van de Engelse taal in woord en geschrift; - probleemoplossend vermogen; - flexibiliteit; - goede communicatieve en sociale vaardigheden.
