Onze klant is een internationale logistieke speler actief in temperatuurgecontroleerde supply chains en transportoplossingen. Vanuit de Antwerpse haven ondersteunen zij dagelijks complexe logistieke stromen en staan betrouwbaarheid, operationele excellence en klantgerichtheid centraal.

Jobomschrijving

Jouw functieAls Dispatcher & Teamlead ben je de spilfiguur binnen de dagelijkse transportoperatie. Je zorgt ervoor dat chauffeurs, ritten en klanten optimaal op elkaar afgestemd zijn en bewaart het overzicht in een dynamische havenomgeving. Dit gecombineerd met een shiftensysteem.

Je verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Opstellen, opvolgen en bijsturen van de dagelijkse transportplanning.
  • Coördineren van containertransporten binnen de Haven van Antwerpen.
  • Dagelijks contact onderhouden met chauffeurs, klanten, terminals en interne stakeholders.
  • Anticiperen op wijzigingen, vertragingen en operationele uitdagingen.
  • Correcte verwerking en opvolging van transportdocumentatie.
  • Bewaken van KPI's, servicelevels en operationele efficiëntie.
  • Ondersteunen, coachen en begeleiden van een klein dispatchteam.
  • Actief meedenken over verbeteringen in processen, planning en samenwerking.

Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt meerdere jaren ervaring binnen dispatching, transportplanning of containerlogistiek.
  • Je beschikt over een uitstekende kennis van de Haven van Antwerpen, terminals, havenprocessen en containerstromen.
  • Je bent sterk in organiseren, prioriteiten stellen en probleemoplossend denken.
  • Je behoudt rust en overzicht in een operationele omgeving met veel wijzigingen.
  • Je communiceert vlot met zowel chauffeurs als klanten.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en administratief correct.
  • Ervaring met het aansturen, coachen of begeleiden van een klein team is een sterke plus.
  • Je bent bereid te werken binnen een operationele omgeving met wisselende uren.
