Onze klant is een internationale en toonaangevende logistieke dienstverlener die bedrijven ondersteunt met uiteenlopende oplossingen binnen warehousing, transport en supply chain management. Voor de activiteiten in Tessenderlo-Ham wordt gezocht naar versterking binnen het operationele management van het warehouse

Jobomschrijving

Ben jij een geboren people manager die graag dicht bij de dagelijkse warehouseactiviteiten staat? Als Supervisor Warehouse neem je de operationele verantwoordelijkheid over jouw afdeling en zorg je samen met de foremen voor een vlotte, veilige en kwalitatieve werking. Daarbij kijk je niet alleen naar de resultaten van vandaag, maar werk je ook actief aan verbeteringen voor de toekomst.

  • Aansturen en coachen van de foremen, die op hun beurt verantwoordelijk zijn voor de dagelijkse begeleiding van de magazijnmedewerkers
  • Operationele KPI's opvolgen en ervoor zorgen dat vooropgestelde doelstellingen rond productiviteit, veiligheid en kwaliteit worden behaald
  • Duidelijke doelstellingen bepalen en de voortgang hiervan samen met het team bewaken
  • Regelmatig overleg organiseren en medewerkers begeleiden via evaluaties, opleidingen en andere opvolgingsmomenten
  • Het grotere operationele geheel bewaken en bijsturen met het oog op de langetermijndoelstellingen van de afdeling
  • Nauw samenwerken met de planningsafdeling, collega-supervisors, de Operations Manager en verschillende interne ondersteunende diensten
  • Actief bijdragen aan een cultuur van continuous improvement en verbeterprojecten mee uitwerken en implementeren
  • Werken met verbetermethodieken zoals 5S en, na de nodige opleiding, zelfstandig verbeterprojecten leiden
  • Veiligheidsregels consequent bewaken en medewerkers stimuleren om hier actief verantwoordelijkheid in op te nemen
  • Veiligheidsrondgangen uitvoeren en incidenten of arbeidsongevallen analyseren om toekomstige risico's zoveel mogelijk te beperken
  • Zorgen voor een duidelijke communicatie van belangrijke veiligheids- en operationele topics naar het team
  • Ervaring in een leidinggevende rol waarbij het coachen en motiveren van medewerkers centraal staat
  • Een sterke leiderschapsstijl waarbij je mensen weet mee te krijgen in operationele doelstellingen
  • KPI's weet je te vertalen naar concrete acties en een efficiënte werking op de werkvloer
  • Flexibel in jouw aanpak en in staat om je communicatiestijl af te stemmen op verschillende medewerkers en situaties
  • Gedreven, zelfstandig en oplossingsgericht ingesteld
  • Goede kennis van Excel en vertrouwd met het opmaken en interpreteren van operationele rapporteringen
  • Ervaring met een Warehouse Management System is een belangrijke troef
  • Vlot kunnen werken met de courante MS Office-toepassingen
  • Veiligheid, kwaliteit en productiviteit verlies je ook tijdens drukke momenten niet uit het oog
  • Bereid om na de opstartperiode in een tweeploegensysteem met vroege en late shift te werken
  • De nodige flexibiliteit om, afhankelijk van de operationele behoeften, eventueel structureel weekendwerk op te nemen
