Taken About the Supervisory Board The Supervisory Board keeps oversight of the organization, monitors the performance of the directors, provides strategic guidance by acting as a sparring partner and advisor for long-term goals and operational changes. The Supervisory Board assesses whether the organisation: - operates in line with its strategic objectives and approved local plans; - contributes to the global strategic objectives of the global WaterAid federation; - acts consistently in accordance with its core values: Respect, Collaboration, Accountability, Innovation, Courage and Integrity. Purpose of the Role The Supervisory Board member will play an important role in leveraging WaterAid Netherland's strategy and monitoring growth ambitions as set out in its strategic plan. The Supervisory Board is currently looking for a youth representative member (younger than 35 years) with expertise in the world of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), and with knowledge of development cooperation. The Youth Representative will bridge the gap between an organization's leadership and a younger demographic. Their role is to champion the voices, needs, and future perspectives of young people.
