Van jou verwacht?

Als Supply Chain Officer fungeer je als rechterhand van de Supply Chain Manager en zal je als lid van dit team mee instaan voor een gestroomlijnde Supply Chain werking.

  • Je bent medeverantwoordelijk voor het volledige beheer van de supply chain processen, gaande van planning, inkoopbeleid, leveranciersopvolging, voorraadbeheer, logistieke opvolging tot en met het facturatieproces.
  • Hiervoor werk je niet alleen nauw samen met jouw collega’s, maar onderhoud je ook de nodige contacten met andere interne afdelingen (Operations, Sales, Finance, Quality) en externe partijen (klanten en leveranciers).
  • Verder krijg je de kans om de flow van deze processen te analyseren, knelpunten te identificeren en verbeteringen door te voeren.
  • Als sleutelfiguur draag je dan ook actief bij aan het optimaliseren en verder ontwikkelen van de supply chain.
  • Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Supply Chain Manager.
  • De supply chain manager te assisteren in het inkoopbeleid: het dagelijks up-to-date houden van de inkooplijsten, het plaatsen en opvolgen van jaarorders, het beheren van afkeur in samenspraak met de Quality Manager.
  • De logistieke processen te coördineren, van ontvangst tot aflevering bij de klant. Je zorgt ervoor dat de klant de goederen tijdig en in de juiste kwaliteit en hoeveelheid ontvangt.
  • Te assisteren bij voorraadbeheer: het bepalen van het bestelpunt en de bestelhoeveelheden, het reduceren van en zelfs elimineren van voorraden en de organisatie van regelmatige stocktellingen.

  • Je hebt een opleiding genoten in Supply Chain Management, logistiek of vergelijkbaar door ervaring.
  • Terugblikken op minimum 3 jaar ervaring als supply chain assistent/coördinator/officer.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels.
  • Je werkt zeer gestructureerd, bent goed georganiseerd en hebt aandacht voor details.
  • Proactief communiceren, oplossingsgerichte initiatieven nemen en deadlines respecteren zijn 3 belangrijke sleutels tot succes binnen deze functie.
  • Affiniteit met metaal is een pluspunt.
