De Supply Chain is volgens Schaub recruitment een uiterst breed werkgebied met diverse vacatures. De SCM beheerst goederenstromen in de gehele keten. Het gaat dan heel vaak over Planning en Communicatie. Bijvoorbeeld wat gaat de vraag zijn? Wat zijn de zaken die je nodig hebt, en wanneer en in welke hoeveelheid? Maar het gaat zelfs zover dat je ook praat over informatie voorziening (ERP) of het magazijn (WMS). Schaub recruitment heeft vaak te maken met vacatures die te maken hebben met: - Detailplanning voor de nauwgezette scheduling voor de uitvoering van bewerkingen en de noodzakelijke resources. - Forcasting voor het inzichtelijk maken van de te verwachten omzet en afzet tegen hun waarschijnlijkheden als voeding voor productie en magazijn. - Productieplanning voor de precieze inzet van resources noodzakelijk voor ongestoorde voortgang van het proces. - Voorraadbeheer op basis van een of een combinatie van methodieken aangaande optimale hoeveelheid en soort stock. Distributieplanning gaat met name over de geografie van de stock verdeeld over het verzorgingsgebied, vaak geholpen door de mensen van merchandising. Netwerkplanning betreft de voortdurende planning tussen de actoren over de gehele keten. Supply Chain Planning gaat over de optimalisatie van productie en stock van de schakels in de keten Schaub recruitment adviseert om bij een Supply Chain organisatie de carrière te beginnen.
