The posting

Support Engineer Navigate the Future of Ocean Mapping with QPS - Share to: - Facebook - Linkedin - Twitter Maybe you've spent years offshore or on survey vessels. You love the industry, the technology, and the people in it. But you're done planning your life around long rotations and weeks away from home. If that sounds familiar, this role was built with you in mind. At QPS, our software, Qinsy, Qimera, Fledermaus, Qastor, and Qarto, powers maritime navigation, bathymetric processing, and subsea visualization. Survey crews, offshore engineers, and maritime experts around the world rely on it every day. When it runs smoothly, ships map the ocean floor with confidence. When something goes wrong, our Support Team is who they call. We're looking for a Medior Support Engineer to join that team in Zeist. You'll combine genuine hydrographic know-how with the technical troubleshooting instincts to keep our customers moving. And you'll do it from the comfort of an office-based role, with only occasional, planned trips on-site. Is this you? You've got real offshore or hydrographic experience, and you're not looking to leave the industry behind. You just want more say over your own calendar. Here, you'll stay close to the technology and the people you know, feet on dry land, most of the time. What You'll Do - Solve complex support challenges. Independently triage and resolve 2nd-line technical support cases across QPS's software suite, with minimal guidance. - Deliver on-site consultancy and training. Occasional Travel to customer sites worldwide to provide hands-on professional services, working directly alongside survey crews, offshore engineers, and maritime experts. Assignments vary from a single day visit to engagements lasting a few weeks. And no two trips look the same: different customers, different vessels or offices, different technical challenges each time, never a fixed route or a familiar crew. - Enable and train our custo...

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
