The posting

Als Surveyor sta je in voor onderstaand takenpakket:

  • Uitvoering van de dagelijkse controles op olieproducten die toekomen in schepen in de Haven van Antwerpen
  • Dit vormt een fysieke job waarbij je de schepen effectief opgaat met het nodige materiaal op de rug en waarbij je trappen etc. moet betreden
  • Voor de staalnames zelf gebruik je naast het fysieke aspect ook wel wat wiskundige berekeningen om te bekijken of de geleverde volumes kloppen
  • Deze staalafnames registreer je correct en indien er afwijkingen zijn meld je deze aan de klant
  • Vervolgens zorg je voor de opvolging en het onderhoud van meetapparatuur, eigen staalname materiaal en PBM's.
  • Je houdt je aan procedures en richtlijnen die gelden binnen de organisatie en werkt dan ook elke dag even veilig

Voor deze functie zoeken we iemand met de juiste instelling en volgende competenties

  • Je beschikt over een sterk wiskundig inzicht om de correcte analyses uit te voeren
  • Diploma's zijn hierbij minder van belang maar kunnen wel een sterke plus vormen
  • Je bent in het bezit van een geldig rijbewijs B en een VCA attest ( beide zijn een must bij opstart)
  • Daarnaast kan je een bewijs van goed gedrag en zeden voorleggen
  • Naast het Nederlands kan je je ook vlot behelpen in het Engels
  • Je geniet ervan om buiten te werken en op verschillende locaties te komen
  • Daarnaast werk je graag in ploegen en zie je het zitten om 12u per dag te werken tussen 6u-18u of tussen 18u-6u
  • 2 weekenden per maand werken vormen voor jou geen probleem
  • Voor deze functie is veiligheid ook zeer belangrijk en wordt er tijdens het kennismakingsgesprek gevraagd of je kan zwemmen, geen hoogtevrees hebt of claustrofobie.
  • Vervolgens moet je ook bereid zijn om je baard af te scheren indien vanwege het veiligheidsmasker dat je dient op te zetten tijdens de staalafnames.
