Jessa Ziekenhuis zet sterk in op digitalisering, innovatie en operationele excellentie. Om deze evolutie mee te ondersteunen, zoeken we een System Engineer Automation & AI binnen onze dienst ICT.

Als System Engineer Automation & AI help je een uniforme technische basis opzetten van waaruit automatisering en waar relevant, AI-toepassingen binnen het ziekenhuis kunnen worden ingezet. Je analyseert bestaande processen en systemen, brengt technische noden en knelpunten in kaart en werkt mee aan oplossingen en integraties die aansluiten op het bestaande applicatie- en IT-landschap. Je draagt zo actief bij aan operationele excellentie: stabielere systemen, efficiëntere processen en minder manueel werk.

Je bent een technisch aanspreekpunt bij de intake en evaluatie van nieuwe initiatieven en vertaalt functionele noden naar concrete, haalbare oplossingen. Je volgt projecten en proof-of-concepts mee op, van analyse tot implementatie, in nauwe samenwerking met gebruikers, ICT-collega's, leveranciers en externe partners. Je bouwt automatiseringen (scripting, integraties, workflows) om processen te stroomlijnen en systemen efficiënt te laten samenwerken. Daarbij heb je aandacht voor stabiliteit, beheerbaarheid, informatieveiligheid, privacy en compliance. Je ondersteunt risicoanalyses en impactbeoordelingen en zorgt voor correcte technische documentatie van de toepassingen die je mee uitrolt.

Je monitort en onderhoudt de systemen die je mee in productie brengt, lost technische issues op en rapporteert over de voortgang, aandachtspunten en gerealiseerde meerwaarde van de initiatieven binnen jouw domein.

Tot slot draag je vanuit je technische rol bij aan de verdere ontwikkeling van het beleid rond automatisering en AI en de bijhorende richtlijnen. Zo help je een verantwoorde en gecontroleerde inzet te waarborgen en bewaak je de samenhang tussen nieuwe initiatieven, systemen en het bestaande applicatielandschap.

Wie ben jij

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een technische richting (IT, informatica, industrieel ingenieur of gelijkwaardig) of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Brede basiservaring in IT-infrastructuur is een must.
  • Je hebt ervaring met scripting (bv. PowerShell, Python) en interesse in automatisering en AI-oplossingen.
  • Affiniteit met DevOps-principes (versiebeheer, geautomatiseerd testen/deployen, monitoring) is een pluspunt.
  • Je denkt vanuit continue verbetering: je signaleert opportuniteiten en neemt zelf initiatief om processen en systemen te optimaliseren.
  • Je bent analytisch ingesteld en kan processen en technische noden snel doorgronden.
  • Je communiceert vlot met zowel eindgebruikers als technische partners en leveranciers.
  • Je werkt gestructureerd en houdt overzicht over verschillende initiatieven tegelijk.
  • Ervaring met systeemintegratie of applicatiebeheer in een (zorg)omgeving is een pluspunt.
