The posting

Functie:

Je maakt deel uit van ons team van instructeurs en bent mee verantwoordelijk voor de

opleiding en begeleiding naar werk. Je hebt een erg gevarieerd takenpakket dat er als volgt

uitziet:

 Je hoofdtaak is het plaatsen van keukens bij particulieren. Je werkt samen met

nieuwkomers, die je tijdens de werkzaamheden coacht. Je focust op het overbrengen

van technische competenties, op het aanleren van werkattitudes en op het ontwikkelen

van Nederlands. Na 10 à 12 maanden onder jouw vleugels, zijn jouw coachees klaar om

op eigen benen installaties uit te voeren.

 Je geeft opleidingen, zoals VCA-opleidingen. Je uitvalbasis is ons opleidingscentrum

in Park Spoor Noord, Antwerpen, maar we werken ook regelmatig op locatie. Je werkt

opleidingsmodules uit, op maat van werkzoekende nieuwkomers en op maat van onze

partnerbedrijven bij wie ze aan de slag gaan.

 Je werkt mee aan ons TalentTrainer-traject, een mobiele technische school die

adolescente nieuwkomers helpt bij de oriëntatie naar een passende opleiding.

 Je werkt nauw samen met bedrijven, partners en publieke actoren.

 Je ondersteunt coachees in hun ontwikkeling en integratie. Je richt je aandacht op

hun talenten en mogelijkheden, en ondersteunt hen tegelijkertijd in de ontwikkeling

van taal, sociale vaardigheden en employability skills.

 Samen met onze talent coaches begeleid je coachees bij het aanpakken van de

drempels naar (regulier) werk. Je bent voor hen een ankerpunt tijdens de opleiding of

eerste werkervaring, op hun weg naar vast werk en ook tijdens hun eerste maanden in

hun nieuwe job.

 Je draagt bij aan de documentatie en verdere ontwikkeling van onze opleidings- en

begeleidingsmethodiek

Profiel:

Je bent maatschappelijk geëngageerd, gedreven en ondernemend. Je kan je volledig vinden

in de visie en missie van Rising You. Je bent ervan overtuigd dat vluchtelingen alle kansen tot

integratie moeten krijgen én grijpen. Vluchtelingen zijn per definitie slachtoffers, maar

tegelijkertijd zijn ze ook veel meer dan dat. Inzetten op hun veerkracht en gedrevenheid doet

hun eer aan. Je bent handig en hebt affiniteit met technische beroepen. Je staat open om te

leren en je de typische, hands-on methodiek van Rising You eigen te maken.

De ideale kandidaat…

 beschikt over een bachelor in een technische richting of over ervaring in een

relevant domein, zoals hout, bouw, metaalbewerking,…

 heeft ervaring in het plaatsen van keukens, schrijnwerkerij, elektriciteit en/of

loodgieterij

 heeft ervaring in agogie of een agogisch diploma

 heeft ervaring in het opleiden en coachen. Je hebt oog voor de mens achter de

cursist en legt hierbij een warm en authentiek contact met zeer diverse cursisten

 is bereid om ook zelf als mens en trainer voortdurend bij te leren

 is fysiek fit

 levert graag goed en professioneel werk en gaat all the way om de opdracht tot

een goed einde te brengen

 is flexibel en in staat om zijn of haar manier van lesgeven aan onze doelgroep aan

te passen

 is communicatief sterk en spreekt de cursisten aan op hun talenten en durft aan te

klampen

 beschikt over een rijbewijs B

 heeft minstens 3 jaar aantoonbare werkervaring
