Heb je zin om je vast te bijten in B2B business development en project management binnen ons flavours segment? Zin om je te verdiepen in een technische en commerciële uitdaging in de boeiende en groeiende voedingssector? Dan is deze functie misschien wel iets voor jou!

We zijn namelijk op zoek naar een Taste Account Manager om ons Benelux team te vervoegen in Mechelen. In deze rol rapporteer je aan de lokale Taste Market Manager en werk je samen met Account Managers, Product Managers en Application Technologists om bestaande en potentiële klanten in de Benelux te inspireren met trendgerichte smaken en zo de business te doen groeien.

Een greep uit jouw toekomstig takenpakket:

  • Je krijgt een hands-on inleiding tot de werking van verschillende afdelingen binnen IMCD Benelux en IMCD Group.
  • Je volgt trainingen en verdiept je in ons taste portfolio om je te ontplooien tot expert.
  • Je onderhoudt en stimuleert de groei van de taste sales cijfers bij bestaande klanten en bouwt relaties met nieuwe klanten.
  • Je promoot ons portfolio bij bestaande en potentiële klanten in de Benelux.
  • Je verdiept je op het gebied van smaak, trendanalyses en eindtoepassingen met als doel meer sales te genereren.
  • Je ontwikkelt een projectpipeline en volgt deze op tot in de eindfase.
  • Je identificeert mogelijke sales opportuniteiten in de markt en zorgt voor de realisatie ervan.
  • Je onderhoudt uitstekende relaties met onze taste partners en belangrijke klanten.
  • Je houdt je administratie op orde in ons CRM-systeem (Salesforce) en werkt nauw samen met onze Sales Support.
  • Je neemt ad hoc taken op ter ondersteuning van de Business Unit.

Onze ideale kandidaat:

  • Je hebt een Bachelor- of Masterdiploma in Voedings- en dieetkunde, Voedseltechnologie of Bio-ingenieurswetenschappen. Beschik je niet over een technisch diploma maar heb je wel bakken goesting om je te verdiepen in voeding en flavours? Waag je kans!
  • Je hebt al enkele jaren (2 tot 3 jaar) commerciële werkervaring.
  • Je kan professioneel communiceren met commerciële en technische contacten bij verschillende bedrijven, en dit in het Nederlands, Engels en Frans.
  • Je bent stressbestendig en kan presteren onder druk.
  • Je kan zowel zelfstandig als in team werken.
