Voor een gevestigde internationale speler in regio Kortrijk zoeken we een Team Coach Productie. De productieafdelingen zijn uitgerust met moderne machines en installaties die voortdurend mee evolueren met nieuwe technologieën. Jaarlijks wordt er stevig geïnvesteerd in technologie, automatisering, performantie en verdere groei van de productieomgeving. Deze organisatie combineert de slagkracht van een multinational met een toegankelijke en ondernemende sfeer op de werkvloer. Initiatief nemen wordt gewaardeerd en dankzij de korte lijnen krijg je de kans om snel impact te maken.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Binnen de PVC-afdeling zijn production, process en technical engineers verantwoordelijk voor de technische expertise, als teamleader ligt jouw zwaartepunt daarom bewust elders: bij de mensen
  • Je besteedt dus ongeveer 80% van je tijd aan people management en coacht een 6-tal ploegleiders die samen ongeveer 45 operatoren aansturen
  • Samen met de ploegleiders werk je aan hun ontwikkeling via one-to-ones, evaluatiegesprekken en waar nodig duidelijke correctiegesprekken
  • Daarnaast bewaak je de dagelijkse organisatie, operationele continuïteit en veiligheid en creëer je draagvlak wanneer veranderingen binnen de afdeling nodig zijn
  • Verder werk je nauw samen met onder meer kwaliteit, planning, supply chain, HR en de technische teams om knelpunten gericht aan te pakken
  • Tot slot vorm je de brug tussen de werkvloer en de productiemanager en ondersteun je hem voor ongeveer 20% van je tijd bij projectwerk, waarbij je als inhoudelijke en organisatorische sparringpartner optreedt
  • Je behaalde een Bachelor- of Masterdiploma
  • Daarnaast heb je een eerste bewezen ervaring in het aansturen en coachen van teams binnen productie of operations, bijvoorbeeld als Production Supervisor, Teamleader of Shift Supervisor, waarbij ervaring met ploegen een sterke troef vormt
  • Technisch hoef je geen specialist of ingenieur te zijn; voldoende interesse om productieprocessen te begrijpen en vlot samen te werken met process engineers en technische collega's is het belangrijkste
  • Tot slot communiceer je vloeiend in het Nederlands, durf je Frans te spreken in contacten met Franstalige collega's en beschik je over een goede basiskennis Engels
