The posting

Als Teamleader Distribution ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse werking van de distributieafdeling. Samen met een team van ongeveer 50 chauffeurs zorg je ervoor dat geneesmiddelen en andere farmaceutische producten tijdig en correct geleverd worden aan apotheken, tot drie keer per dag.

Je neemt een leidinggevende en coördinerende rol op binnen de afdeling en staat in voor:

  • De organisatie en optimale werking van de distributieafdeling, inclusief een efficiënte planning en opvolging van de dagelijkse activiteiten.
  • Het begeleiden, coachen en ondersteunen van (assistant) teamcoaches, chauffeurs en binnendienstmedewerkers.
  • De administratieve opvolging van het team, waaronder controle van dagstaten, gereden kilometers en het beheer van de netheid en staat van het wagenpark.
  • Het bewaken en verbeteren van de kwaliteit door procedures op te volgen, orde en netheid op de werkvloer te garanderen en mee te werken aan interne en externe kwaliteitsaudits.
  • Het continu streven naar een uitstekende dienstverlening voor klanten.

Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Operations Deputy.

  • Je bent een ervaren people manager met een sterke focus op coaching, samenwerking en leiderschap door voorbeeldgedrag.
  • Je beschikt over minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen een logistieke omgeving.
  • Je werkt georganiseerd, nauwkeurig en praktisch ingesteld, met oog voor veiligheid en het vermogen om prioriteiten te stellen.
  • Je bent communicatief sterk, denkt in oplossingen en durft verbeterpunten actief aan te kaarten.
  • Je hebt een ondernemende ingesteldheid en bent iemand die initiatief neemt.
  • Je bent bereid om in dagdienst te werken en beschikt over de nodige flexibiliteit binnen de openingsuren van de vestiging (6u30 – 19u30).
  • Een goede kennis van MS Office, en in het bijzonder Excel, is een pluspunt.
