The posting

Here's what you'll do:

De Teamlead Laadkaai is verantwoordelijk voor het dagelijks aansturen van de activiteiten op de laadkaai binnen het distributiecentrum (DC en DVK8). Hij/zij zorgt ervoor dat alle logistieke processen efficiënt, veilig en kwalitatief verlopen en dat het team optimaal wordt ingezet en begeleid. Het resultaat is een correcte levering aan de klant.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

Operationele aansturing

- Stuurt alle ploegen op de laadkaai aan en zorgt voor een efficiënte organisatie van het werk.

- Start de shipments op tijdens de daguren en bewaakt het verloop van de laad- en losactiviteiten.

- Zorgt ervoor dat de juiste medewerker op de juiste plaats wordt ingezet.

- Volgt alle logistieke activiteiten op de laadkaai op en ziet erop toe dat deze correct en kwaliteitsvol worden uitgevoerd.

- Je stelt prioriteiten.

- Volgt stilstanden in het distributiecentrum op en onderneemt actie waar nodig.

- Zorgt ervoor dat werkinstructies en procedures correct worden nageleefd.

People management

- Coacht, motiveert en begeleidt het team op de laadkaai.

- Geeft constructieve feedback aan medewerkers en stuurt bij waar nodig.

- Organiseert opleidingen en bepaalt welke competenties medewerkers moeten ontwikkelen.

- Voorziet de nodige tijd en middelen voor opleiding en ontwikkeling.

- Communiceert belangrijke veranderingen of operationele updates naar het team.

Samenwerking en communicatie

- Zorgt voor een goede samenwerking met de technische dienst (TD) en communiceert proactief over defecten of stilstanden.

- Draagt bij aan een vlotte samenwerking met de afdeling expeditie, suppy chain en andere interne diensten.

- Bij dit alles ziet en begrijpt hij/zij het belang van de functie binnen de bredere logistieke organisatie en handelt hiernaar.

Veiligheid, kwaliteit en verbeteringen

- Ziet erop toe dat alle veiligheidsregels, kwaliteitsregels en bedrijfsprocedures worden gerespecteerd.

- Brengt risico's in kaart en formuleert verbetervoorstellen.

- Werkt actief mee aan het implementeren van verbeteringen in processen en werkwijzen.

- Waakt over de naleving van bedrijfsregels op vlak van veiligheid, kwaliteit en personeelsbeleid.

Bij dit alles stel je je flexibel op (je vervangt indien nodig een collega in de vroege of late ploeg) en werk je actief mee in het operationele, al zeker bij complexe problemen. Je rapporteert aan de Coördinator Warehouse & Distribution.

• Je hebt ervaring in het aansturen van een team in een logistieke omgeving, bij voorkeur laadkaai.

• Inzicht in logistieke processen binnen een distributiecentrum.

• Kan werken met ERP-systemen en WCS.

• Naast een zeer goede kennis Nederlands, kan je je uit de slag trekken in het Frans en Engels.

• Je denkt in oplossingen in plaats van problemen.

• Sterke leiderschapsvaardigheden en coachende en motiverende ingesteldheid.

• Je bent een communicatieve teamspeler en organisatorisch sterk.

• Flexibele werkhouding en oplossingsgericht denken.

• Je draagt safety hoog in het vaandel

• Je hebt een hands-on-ingesteldheid.

• Je bent in het bezit van een heftruck-attest en bereid deze te halen.
